Chapter 12 A Cunning Plan
After venting their anger, the mother and her two children felt much better.
After returning home, Jiang Ruzhen comforted her eldest brother and arranged everyone's affairs for the next day before sending them back to their respective rooms.

Qin Lanlan failed to achieve her goal, so she had no choice but to play along with Jiang Ruzhen in a show of motherly affection.
Jiang Ruzhen sneered inwardly, thinking, "They're not even putting on an act anymore, they're so eager to push their daughter into the fire."
"Alright, go ahead, you two sisters have a good chat."
Jiang Ruzhen let go of Qin Lanlan, and Qin Lanlan turned around and walked towards Shen Shuxin. She smiled and pulled Shen Shuxin towards the seaside.
Shen Shuxin was clearly reluctant, but she still went along.
Qin Lanlan's subordinate, displeased, yanked hard, "You little slut, you dare to act childish with me!"
I wonder if she'll still be able to maintain this demure, refined demeanor after being taken advantage of by that filthy old man who cleans latrines.

Jiang Ruzhen immediately rushed over with her fourth son. She hugged Xin Yatou to comfort her, still shaken, and glared at her second son.
Why were you so slow? You almost scared Xin Xin.
The second brother grinned; he had chosen the best time to arrive only after seeing the fourth brother approach.
