Chapter 28 The Spoiled Child
"Xiaomin, your grandparents aren't in good health, don't leave all these good things behind," Jiang Zhengyu scolded.

She wanted to ask her parents how they had been all these years, but the two elderly people only mentioned the good things.
The old village chief assigned them an easy job of collecting manure, and they got to know many plants and animals they had never seen before.

The family sat together and chatted for a while longer, until dawn was almost breaking, before Jiang Ruzhen reluctantly said goodbye to her family.
As before, her second brother saw her out. Jiang Ruzhen held back her tears and said goodbye to him, then returned to the forest along the path she had come from.
Unexpectedly, Lu Mingzheng was still waiting for her there. Seeing that her eyes were red, he didn't say anything and opened the car door to let her get in.
