Chapter 69 The Nightmare Strikes Again
Mei Ling was bewildered after Jiang Ruzhen sprayed her face with spit. "Big sister, who are you?"
At this moment, Jiang Ruzhen seemed like a ferocious beast protecting its cubs, her eyes bloodshot as she shoved Mei Ling away.
"I'm Shen Zhuoyi's mother. My second son doesn't want you. Get out of here... get out..."

"Get out of here right now, and don't let me see you again."
He turned back to the store, took all the cash, told the two sales clerks to watch the store, and then ran after his boss.

The doctor rushed in and gave Jiang Ruzhen a quick examination. "She's fine now. As long as she wakes up, everything's alright."
She was just momentarily overwhelmed with anger; she'll feel better once she gets over it. Don't worry, you can stay at the hospital for observation overnight if you're concerned.
"Thank you, doctor." The two older brothers thanked the doctor repeatedly.
After seeing the doctor off, the two sat on either side of Jiang Ruzhen, watching her silently.
After a long pause, the eldest son finally spoke up, asking, "Mom, what's wrong with you today? You seem very unusual."
The second son immediately apologized, "Mom, I was wrong. I shouldn't have let Mei Ling find our house, and I shouldn't have been arguing with her at the door."
"Mom, don't be angry. Hit me if you want, but don't hurt yourself."
After regaining her senses, Jiang Ruzhen realized that her behavior had been somewhat crazy. Afraid of frightening the two brothers, she quickly explained with a smile.
"When Mom came home today, she saw two groups of thugs fighting, which scared her and made her a little uneasy. Later, when she saw the girl who was bothering you, she suddenly felt a surge of anger, which is why she acted so out of control."

"What exactly happened? Why did your mother vomit blood?"
Shen Zhuoyi felt a sudden pang of heart palpitation when he faced the serious and earnest Lu Mingzheng. Every time he had seen Uncle Lu before, he thought he was cheerful and humorous.
But today, for some reason, he felt a sense of oppression, like a mountain, making it hard for him to breathe.
He swallowed hard and organized his thoughts. “My mom said she was frightened when she saw two groups of thugs fighting today. Then she saw me arguing with Mei Ling. She had a gut feeling that Mei Ling was no good, and in her anger and agitation, she vomited blood.”
Lu Mingzheng's brows furrowed more and more as he listened. "She only did that for this reason? You believe her?"
Shen Zhuoyi muttered hesitantly, "She's my mother, I don't believe she can do anything about it?"
"What? She saw two groups of thugs fighting. My boss only intervened because of your mother and even got stabbed. Instead of thanking her, she scolded my boss. What kind of logic is that?"
She's angry, but my boss isn't even angry with her yet!
Yu Jian, who had just paid Jiang Ruzhen's hospital fees, walked over and overheard Shen Zhuoyi and Lu Mingzheng's conversation.
He couldn't stand it anymore and argued a couple of times in defense of his boss, but Lu Mingzheng turned and glared at him.
"Stop talking."
