After dealing with Yuan Shu, Cao Cao hurriedly stopped the Xiahou brothers.
"This man is also loyal to his master, how could you be so ruthless?"
Seeing the guard's gruesome state with blood gushing from his mouth and nose, Cao Cao couldn't help but frown.
Xiahou Dun said sheepishly, "I understand, elder brother, I won't do it again."
Cao Cao shook his head helplessly, then took out a gold ingot from his sleeve and handed it to the guard.

Cao Cao stepped forward and pounded on the gate of the Yuan residence while shouting, "Your young master has been beaten up! Why aren't you coming out?"
Hearing footsteps coming from inside the door, Cao Cao quickly pulled the Xiahou brothers away and fled the place.
