In an alley not far from the Yuan residence, three figures hid in a doorway, constantly peering out.
These three people were Cao Cao and his brothers Xiahou Dun and Xiahou Yuan.
Looking at the empty alley ahead, Xiahou Dun looked at Cao Cao with a puzzled expression.
"Elder brother, what brings us here today?"
"fight!"
Cao Cao didn't turn his head, still staring intently at the corner of the alley.
Ever since parting ways with Yuan Shao that day, Cao Cao had guessed something and then came here to lie in wait.
After observing for several days, Cao Cao finally figured out Yuan Shu's pattern of action. However, Yuan Shu was always accompanied by a guard, which made it impossible for Cao Cao to make a move.
Cao Cao believed he could easily defeat Yuan Shu one-on-one, but if he added that guard to the team, it would be much more difficult.
Just then, Xiahou Dun and his brother appeared, and with a smile, Xiahou Dun led them here to set up an ambush.
At first, the two brothers felt a little uneasy when they saw their older brother's smile, but when they heard that he had brought them to fight, they became excited.
"Great! I haven't done this in ages, I'm itching to get my hands dirty."
Xiahou Dun chuckled and then asked, "Brother, tell me, who are we going to beat up today?"
"Yuan Shu!"
"Yuan Shu? That Yuan family's eldest son, Yuan Shu?"
The two brothers' expressions changed.
Cao Cao nodded. "Not bad!"
Xiahou Yuan said somewhat nervously, "Big...Big brother, we can't afford to offend the Yuan family."
Upon hearing this, Cao Cao glanced at Xiahou Yuan and said, "Benchu and his mother were both bullied by Yuan Shu and his mother. If I don't avenge my brothers, how can I swallow this insult?"
Upon hearing this, Xiahou Dun immediately flew into a rage: "What? This Yuan Shu is so despicable! I'll beat him to a pulp today!"
"But elder brother, second brother, if we defeat Yuan Shu, what will happen to his family...?"
Xiahou Yuan was about to say something when Xiahou Dun rudely interrupted him, then glared at him, "Miaocai, if you are afraid, you can leave on your own. My elder brother and I can do the same."
Upon hearing this, Xiahou Yuan's face flushed red, and he said with a stiff neck, "Who...who is afraid? Yuan Shao is also my friend. Besides, I've long disliked Yuan Shu. Today, I'm going to knock out a few of his teeth no matter what."
Upon hearing this, Xiahou Dun smiled and patted Xiahou Yuan on the shoulder: "Good! That's my brother."
Cao Cao looked at the two brothers, chuckled, and said nothing, then turned to look at the alley entrance.
"They're here."
Cao Cao whispered a reminder, and the Xiahou brothers followed Cao Cao's gaze.
Yuan Shu was seen swaggering towards them with a guard.
"You two go together and deal with the guard next to him. Just keep him occupied. I'll handle Yuan Shu."
“Alright, brother. Judging from the guard’s disordered movements, he shouldn’t be any expert. Dealing with him shouldn’t be a problem.”
"That's good!" Cao Cao looked at Yuan Shu with a chilling smile on his face.
"Yuan Shu, you brat, stop right there!"
When Yuan Shu and his companion arrived, Cao Cao shouted and suddenly rushed out with the Xiahou brothers to block Yuan Shu's path.
"Cao Cao? What do you want to do?"
Upon seeing the three people who suddenly appeared, Yuan Shu was startled. These people were notorious among the scions of aristocratic families.
Seeing the sinister smile on Cao Cao's lips made him feel uneasy.
"What are you doing? You'll find out soon enough. Get them!"
Cao Cao sneered and immediately charged toward Yuan Shu, with the Xiahou brothers following closely behind.
Yuan Shu's guards, seeing that things were going wrong, tried to stop Cao Cao, but were entangled by the Xiahou brothers who arrived later.
"Cao Cao, do you think I'm afraid of you?"
Seeing that there was no way to avoid it, Yuan Shu calmed down. After all, he had some martial arts skills, and he had an advantage over Cao Cao in both height and weight.
"Hmph~ Let's give it a try!"
Cao Cao snorted coldly, said no more, and then punched Yuan Shu in the chest.
"A trivial skill!"
Yuan Shu dodged the attack with a quick twist, then raised his foot to kick Cao Cao in the lower back.
Cao Cao ducked down to avoid the attack, then rolled over and charged at Yuan Shu again.
Meanwhile, the Xiahou brothers, one responsible for the frontal attack and the other for occasional harassment, caught Yuan Shu's guards off guard. They hadn't expected these two young boys to be so strong and skilled in martial arts, and were quickly overwhelmed, struggling to hold on.
Noticing that the Xiahou brothers had gained the upper hand, Cao Cao's eyes lit up, and taking advantage of Yuan Shu's distraction, he immediately launched a surprise attack.
"Ah, Cao Cao, you despicable and shameless villain!"
Feeling a sharp pain in his lower body, Yuan Shu immediately squatted down on the ground and began to curse loudly.
"What does being despicable matter? To me, winning or losing is what matters most!"
Cao Cao sneered and charged at Yuan Shu again, targeting his lower body. Yuan Shu was in excruciating pain from being ambushed by Cao Cao earlier and was struggling to cope.
Hearing Yuan Shu's screams, the guards nearby couldn't help but glance at their young master, but Xiahou Dun seized the opportunity and punched him in the face. Xiahou Yuan, who was standing nearby, also took the opportunity to knock him to the ground. The two brothers immediately rushed over and started punching and kicking him.
Taking advantage of the situation, Cao Cao punched Yuan Shu in the face. Yuan Shu felt his teeth loosen and before he could react, Cao Cao punched him in the nose. He immediately went black and collapsed to the ground unconscious.
