Chapter Twenty-Six: Impossible!

In the classroom, a few students first led the applause, and then more and more people followed suit, applauding An Yuan'er's brilliant answer.

The applause was thunderous, and An Yuan'er felt embarrassed instead.

The one who's really powerful isn't her; it's clearly Yi Chenli.

She secretly gave Yi Chenli a thumbs up and mouthed, "You're the best!"

Yi Chenli ignored An Yuan'er again, as if his help was just a small favor and he didn't want An Yuan'er's thanks at all.

The Grand Tutor had long seen through all of An Yuan'er's little tricks, but he didn't expose her. He simply said, "Student Yuan, you need to pay more attention in class next time. You won't be so lucky next time."

An Yuan'er quickly nodded and assured him, "Yes, Grand Tutor. I understand."

Once seated, An Yuan'er finally breathed a sigh of relief.

She picked up her paintbrush and drew two people on the paper. One person was drawn very large, and the other was drawn very small. The small person's eyes were filled with hearts, and there was a river next to them.

Yi Chenli took the drawing paper and began to look at it.

He suddenly felt a sense of despair. Perhaps it was because he had been in contact with Yuan Gun Gun so much that he could understand the meaning of her abstract paintings at a glance.

The older person is him, and the younger person is An Yuan'er herself. An Yuan'er is saying that her admiration and respect for him is like a surging river, endless and continuous.

The little girl is amazing; she used drawing to shower everyone with compliments.

Yi Chenli, on the other hand, was now hoping that he couldn't understand the painting.

He picked up his pen, wrote two words, and tossed them to An Yuan'er.

No!

An Yuan'er wiggled her short legs, looking somewhat troubled.

Flattery won't work; the future tyrant is definitely not someone you can easily appease.

She wanted to pick up her paintbrush and paint something, but Yi Chenli coughed lightly, gesturing for her to look up.

An Yuan'er looked up and saw that the Grand Tutor was staring at her with wide eyes, giving her a warning!

An Yuan'er became obedient this time, placing her hands on the table, sitting up straight with her head held high and her round eyes fixed on the tutor, looking like a well-behaved student in class.

The Grand Tutor was finally satisfied and turned his attention away from others.

The Grand Tutor's lectures on Confucianism lasted for three whole days.

The school was relatively peaceful for the past three days. Some princes and nobles wanted to isolate An Yuan'er because she was always in contact with Yi Chenli.

After only a short time, everyone gradually discovered that An Yuan'er had not been infected with the madness. On the contrary, this youngest girl was particularly likable.

An Yuan'er loves snacks, and she always carries various kinds of food that are not available in the palace. An Yuan'er likes to share, and whenever she has something delicious, she always likes to share it with everyone.

As the saying goes, "He who eats another's food is bound to him," and An Yuan'er became increasingly familiar with the students.

During the break between classes today, many people surrounded her again.

"Yuan'er, what delicious food did you bring today?"

An Yuan'er smiled and said, "I haven't tried this before! It's a new sweet pastry made by my Aunt Yun. It's soft, fragrant, and sweet, and it's super delicious."

Children are at the age where they love to eat, and their eyes light up when they hear about delicious food.

"Yuan'er, I want it."

"Yuan'er, I've never had a sugar-filled shortbread before, I want one too."

An Yuan'er first asked Yi Chenli beside her, "Sixth Prince, do you want to eat?"

Yi Chenli lowered his eyes, quietly turning the pages of his book without saying a word.

An Yuan'er knew that Yi Chenli was rejecting her; he was telling her not to bother him.

An Yuan'er generously took out all the pastries from her bag and shared them with everyone.
