Chapter Forty-Six: Bad Guys

Despite receiving numerous acupuncture treatments, Murong Huan remained unwell.

He looked at Yi Chenli in the wheelchair and suddenly said, "I heard that your legs were ruined by a big rock. I've always been curious about how your legs were ruined."

"I bet the muscles in your legs haven't all atrophied, have they? You little cripple!"

Murong Huan finally saw stiffness and despair on Yi Chenli's calm face.

He laughed triumphantly. He had unexpectedly discovered that destroying Yi Chenli's body was not the most terrifying thing; the most devastating thing was destroying people's hearts.

Murong Huan grabbed Yi Chenli's blood-soaked body, his eyes fixed on his legs: "Little cripple, quickly show us your legs."

Murong Huan's henchmen echoed, "Lift up his trouser legs, and if that doesn't work, pull his trousers down."

Despite losing so much blood, Yi Chenli stubbornly pushed away Murong Huan's touch.

Murong Huan was already 14 years old. He didn't take Yi Chenli, a cripple and a child, seriously at all. But to his surprise, Yi Chenli was very strong. His hands were red and swollen from pushing and shoving him. He was pulling desperately.

Murong Huan's expression turned ferocious, and he grew increasingly angry. He could not accept that he was inferior to a cripple.

"You guys come here and help me hold him down."

Several thugs rushed over and, in the struggle, pulled Yi Chenli off his wheelchair.

"Get out of my way! Don't touch me." Despite the huge physical difference, Yi Lichen resisted stubbornly, but how could his small body withstand the combined strength of several thugs?

Eunuch Li knelt on the ground, pleading with the Empress: "Your Majesty, the Sixth Prince is, after all, of royal blood. You cannot allow others to humiliate him like this!"

The Empress watched everything with a cold eye, tacitly approving such violence.

Yi Chenli was no longer calm. Like a raging little beast, he used all his strength to resist and struggle: "Get out of here! Let me go!"

He rolled and struggled on the ground, stirring up the dirt that mingled with his blood-soaked clothes.

His hands frantically clawed at those who touched him, and he thought desperately, "Why don't these people just die? They don't deserve to live. They should all die."

Murong Huan kicked Yi Chenli hard: "You better behave yourself, you little beast!"

He picked up a long rope and tied Yi Chenli up.

The strong-willed Yi Chenli finally broke down at this moment.

He stared blankly at the sky, raindrops falling on his face, as if even the heavens were weeping for him.

Someone pulled up his trouser leg, and he felt his body stiffen.

Soon, everyone will see his crippled legs hanging limply over his body without any support.

They would mock him, humiliating him with unbridled cruelty, more severely than ever before.

But at that moment, Murong Huan's head was struck hard with a wooden stick.

"Ah!" Murong Huan cried out in pain, clutching his head as blood flowed from the back of his skull.

He turned around angrily and saw a little girl of about five or six years old, wearing a pink dress, holding a wooden stick she had picked up, hitting him again and again.

On her way back, An Yuan'er was urged by a bad feeling that she had to go back and take another look.

An Yuan'er has never hit anyone. In both her lives, she was just a spoiled little girl.

She was terrified, but she insisted on standing in front of Yi Chenli, waving a wooden stick and shouting, "You're a bad person, I'll beat you to death, beat you to death!"
