Chapter 90 Appreciating Handsome Men with Snow

He Xue gripped the railing tightly, standing on tiptoe and trying her best to look into the distance.

Seeing how much effort He Xue was putting in, Jing Shu instructed someone to find a small stool for her. If He Xue were still small, he could carry her, but now that she was older, even though they were siblings, he had to be careful.

"Be careful, don't fall!" Jing Shu hurriedly reminded He Xue when he saw that half of He Xue's body was leaning out.

"I understand, big brother!" He Xue replied verbally, but her actions didn't stop at all.

Jing Shu had no choice but to keep a close eye on He Xue at all times.

When Xue and the others arrived, there was a competition taking place. The participants were a group of fourteen or fifteen-year-old boys, all with determined eyes.

At the command, a horse was the first to gallop off.

Upon closer inspection, Xue realized it was Longkodo.

“Big brother, look, it’s Uncle!” He Xue said to Jing Shu.

"Big brother saw it, be careful!" Jing Shu's heart nearly skipped a beat when he saw He Xue jumping around. He shouldn't have brought He Xue up here.

"Go, Uncle!" He Xue shouted to Longkodo.

Hearing He Xue's voice, Longkodo smiled at her and continued to focus on the match.

Soon, these people disappeared from He Xue's sight, and they all ran towards a small grove of trees.

He Xue didn't know what the race route was, so she could only stare longingly at the woods.

After about the time it takes for an incense stick to burn, the sound of horses' hooves gradually came.

Soon a boy in white appeared in He Xue's line of sight, followed closely by a boy in blue and a boy in black.

The boy in white was Longkodo, but the two people behind him were strangers to Xue.

Longkodo spurred his horse hard, and the horse reared up, then reared up, neighed, and continued galloping forward at high speed, kicking up a cloud of dust behind it.

Longkodo picked up his bow and arrow, aimed, and shot in one swift motion.

"Uncle is awesome!" He Xue shouted, waving her hands at Longkodo while standing on tiptoe.

When the Crown Prince arrived, he saw that He Xue was almost falling off the stands and was waving her hands frantically.

The prince was so frightened that he didn't dare to breathe. He took three steps at a time and went up to the stands. He wanted to call out to He Xue, but he was afraid that if he made too loud a sound, He Xue would be frightened and might really fall. So he had no choice but to come up himself.

He Xue looked at the people on horseback and saw that they were full of vigor and vitality.

Indeed, soldiers are always the most handsome, no matter the time. They have fire in their hearts, light in their eyes, and hope for the country!

He Xue started to swoon over those people. They were all riding horses, each with a tall and straight posture and agile movements. They were all dashing young men in fine clothes and riding spirited horses!

When the prince approached He Xue, he heard He Xue mutter, "He's so handsome!"

Although he didn't know what He Xue meant by "handsome," seeing He Xue drooling as she looked at those people, he could roughly guess what it meant.

The Crown Prince grabbed He Xue by the collar and pulled her down from the railing.

He Xue waved her hands, "Big brother, let go! Don't stop me from seeing the handsome guy!"

"Would you like to see your brother, the Crown Prince, first?" the Crown Prince said with a dark face.

He Xue then realized that it wasn't Jing Shu who had grabbed him earlier.

He Xue gave Jing Shu a reproachful look. Why didn't her older brother remind her? How embarrassing!

Jing Shu wanted to remind He Xue, but he hadn't even noticed the Crown Prince had arrived!

"Brother Crown Prince, what brings you here?" He Xue immediately asked with a smile.

"Hmph!" The Crown Prince turned his head to the side and vented his anger on Jing Shu.
