Chapter 387 Being Entangled



Chu Chu opened the door without any hesitation. A cold air rushed towards her, making her shudder.

The room was dimly lit, with only a faint ray of sunlight filtering through the slits in the curtains, barely illuminating a corner. Chu Chu's gaze quickly swept across the room, only to see Lin Xiaoyang curled up on the bed, frail and pale, her eyes closed and her brow furrowed, as if she were experiencing immense pain. Beside her, two transparent spirits lingered. One lay menacingly on her back, grinning eerily; the other clung to her legs, its face filled with reluctance and resentment.

Chuchu's eyes instantly became sharp and determined, and she stared directly at the two spirits without fear. Under her powerful aura, the two spirits seemed to be intimidated by an invisible force and instantly loosened their grip on Lin Xiaoyang, turning into a wisp of green smoke and disappearing into the room.

As the soul disappeared, Lin Xiaoyang suddenly opened her eyes as if awakened from a nightmare. She clutched her chest, gasping for breath, tears streaming down her cheeks, and looked at Su Rong with eyes filled with helplessness and fear.
