"When I was little, my mom used to whip me with jujube branches a lot, but the jujubes from this tree were the sweetest. I ate them from when they were still green until they were completely dry on the tree. My mom would make jujube flower cakes during the Chinese New Year."
As Shen Xianjun was speaking, Qin Nian saw the jujubes on the tree. Shen Xianjun picked one, wiped it clean, and handed it to Qin Nian.
It tastes sour and astringent when you take a bite.
Shen Xianjun also picked one and ate it himself. It was so sour it made his teeth ache. He used to sneak handfuls of them, and his mother really deserved to beat him.
Qin Nian couldn't help but smile when she saw Shen Xianjun's expression.

Early in the morning, Changshun brought the things, including two sets of clothes.
"My wife made this for you two. Have a safe journey."
Changshun only said one sentence, put down his things, and left.
Before the car left, the brigade leader and others reluctantly saw it off at the village entrance, and only returned to their work after the car disappeared from sight.
The car was stuffed with cucumbers, persimmons, apricots, boiled eggs, and flatbreads, all for the road.
