Chapter 93 Climbing the Wall and Getting Stuck at the Door (2/2)

When Yang Yufen returned home, she saw Commander Liao from the security department again. Since they were familiar with each other, they greeted each other, and Yang Yufen handed him a lunchbox.

"Try this cold noodle soup. People tend to lose their appetite when it's hot. I haven't had a chance to properly thank you for what you did for me before."

"Then I won't stand on ceremony."

Commander Liao accepted it with a smile.

“I saw Da Bao at the orphanage today. The way he climbed the wall was just like his dad’s.”

Commander Liao suddenly said something.

"What? Climbing the wall? Da Bao climbing the wall?"

The thought of that scene made Yang Yufen realize that she would never have a peaceful life again.

"The child is fine. It's just that he's very active at this age, and it's not just the older child."

"Erbao climbed the wall too?"

Yang Yufen spoke up subconsciously.

"No, Erbao got stuck in the door. The kid didn't make a sound. The teacher only noticed after all the kids on the wall were pulled down. He didn't cry at all and was quite calm."

Yang Yufen felt a throbbing vein on her temple.

"Da Bao said he wanted to take a group of kids to your noodle shop, saying that your noodles are better than those in the orphanage cafeteria. So the group of kids got hungry and tried to sneak out when the teacher wasn't looking."

Commander Liao chuckled as he spoke, opening his lunchbox and beginning to eat.

"I must say, this bowl of noodles is really good. No wonder the child was so eager to eat it. I'm not exaggerating."

Yang Yufen didn't go home this time, but went straight to the orphanage. The old man at the gate saw that it was Yang Yufen and let her into the orphanage.

"Grandma, we were wrong."

With their heads down, Da Bao and Er Bao were incredibly well-behaved after the teacher's guidance.

Yang Yufen sighed and first took Erbao closer to look at him. His ears were a little red, but there was nothing serious.

"Thank you for your help, teacher. You can go play with your friends now."

Yang Yufen sent the two children away and apologized to the teacher.

"It's okay, it's normal for boys to be a little mischievous. And although it was Da Bao who brought it up, it wasn't Da Bao who actually took the kids over the wall. The kids have already been disciplined."

When Yang Yufen came out, she saw a group of children staring at her, accompanied by the twins.

"grandmother."

Da Bao blinked.

"Alright, if you want noodles, Grandma will make them for you after school. You can't run around on the way to school, okay?"

Yang Yufen went home to fertilize the fields, as the vegetables in the backyard were meant to supply the shop.

"Yufen, here you go. I have a lot of persimmons and cucumbers here, we can't even eat them all. You'll need them anyway, so you might as well get them from me instead of buying them outside."

Aunt Wang came over carrying a basket. The backyards of the two houses were connected, which was very convenient.

"That's great, it saves me from going to the market early. I'll give you the money later."

"Okay, where are the chives? If you want them, I'll cut some for you, they'll be perfect for fertilizing."

"Yes, you can cut it, and I'll fetch the fertilizer for you."

Yang Yufen didn't stand on ceremony with Aunt Wang.

"We'll have cold noodles for dinner, so don't bother cooking."

Yang Yufen shouted.

"Okay, I'll help you in a bit."

Aunt Wang bent down to cut chives and replied.

After finishing her work in the vegetable garden, Aunt Wang came over with her child.

"Why did you knead so much dough?"

When Wang Da Niang saw the bowl of noodles, she was shocked. It wasn't uncommon for the two families to eat together, and they both knew each other's appetites.
