Xia He said, "The two little ones are usually quite picky about their food, and pandas eat a lot. I hope Grandma Li won't dislike them. I'll put their food here, and they'll tell you what they want to eat."
Xia He took out a large pile of pet food from her space, including dog food and snacks. She also took out a large cabinet and put all the food for the two little ones into it. What could the two little ones not understand at this point? The panda jumped up and down on the spot!
"Meal ticket! You're not taking us with you again! Ever since that stinky reptile appeared, you haven't taken us out!" The panda roared and cursed, and Xia He immediately formed a hand seal to seal the panda's mouth shut.
Tangyuan looked at Xiahe with a worried expression and went over to rub her head against Xiahe's leg.
Xia He squatted down, patted Tangyuan's head and said, "I'm not going out to play this time. You two stay here with Granny Li and don't cause any trouble. You have to be good and listen to Granny Li."
Tangyuan nodded at Xiahe, and then Xiahe said to Grandma Li, "Pandas and Tangyuan won't be too difficult to raise. They can use the toilet by themselves, and you don't need to worry too much about their eating, drinking, defecating, and sleeping."
After saying that, he gave the two little ones a large doghouse, big enough for them to sleep in. "It's just that this panda is too big, so it might take up some space. I'll come and pick them up as soon as I'm done with my mission!"
"Xiao He! You can go without worry. Don't worry about Panda and Tangyuan, leave them to me!" Li Chunhua looked at the two little ones with great affection. Xia He patted the two little ones' chubby heads one last time, then released the panda from its spell and went out.
The two little ones watched Xia He's retreating figure, their eyes filled with worry and reluctance.
After giving the instructions, Xia He and Xiao Lin met up. "Let's go, I've made all the arrangements at the base," Xiao Lin said, gently stroking Xia He's head.
"Okay." Xia He nodded, a hint of sadness flashing in her eyes. Xiao Lin knew that Xia He was worried about the two little ones.
The two set off from the top of the base. Xia He drove the Green Dragon Crescent Blade, while Xiao Lin stood behind her, keeping a close eye on the surroundings. Both of them had excellent eyesight. Following her previous memories, Xia He headed towards the abandoned research institute. She thought that it would still be the same as before, filled with low-level zombies. However, things turned out differently than Xia He and Xiao Lin had anticipated.
As the two flew through the air, they attracted the attention of many zombies. At this time, some zombies began to gather in their direction, and at the entrance of the research institute, a mutated plant was found perched at the entrance!
"I don't think this was here last time?" Xia He asked.
Xiao Lin said, "If I remember correctly, there really isn't such a thing."
"How could this be?" Xia He asked, puzzled.
"I don't know either. We'll go down and find out." Xiao Lin's eyes were filled with coldness.
Xia He nodded, and the Green Dragon Crescent Blade trembled slightly as it began to descend. During the descent, the two could see the abandoned research institute more clearly. The building was extremely dilapidated, with vines creeping across the walls, most windows broken, and discarded experimental equipment and scattered documents on the ground.
When Xia He and Xiao Lin landed on the ground, the number of zombies around them had increased significantly. Xia He wielded her Green Dragon Crescent Blade, engaging in fierce combat with the oncoming zombies. Xiao Lin followed closely behind, using his spiritual energy to clear out the surrounding zombies.
Suddenly, the mutated plant in front of the abandoned research institute began to move, its roots twisting into tentacles and reaching towards the surrounding zombies. This mutated plant seemed to have some connection with the zombies, making them even more ferocious.
"Be careful, this plant might have some kind of control over zombies!" Xiao Lin reminded Xia He, and the two worked together to deal with this sudden predicament.
At the entrance of the abandoned research institute, the mutated plant stood out as unusually unique and eerie. Its main body was a massive vine, its trunk covered in twisted, bluish-brown bark, coiling around the entrance like a giant python. The vine emitted a faint blue fluorescence, plunging the entire entrance to the abandoned research institute into a gloomy atmosphere.
The vines' roots were deeply embedded in the ground, and the trunk stretched upwards until it reached the height of a two-story building. The bluish-brown bark was covered with textures and bumps, and these protrusions emitted a faint glow, like mysterious tattoos on the vines.
Most strikingly, the vine's branches are covered with a layer of translucent, crystalline thorns, each thorn possessing a blue, transparent quality, like crystal. These thorns vary in length, some as sharp as daggers, others curved like hooks, forming an impenetrable barrier.
The spikes had a smooth, hard surface, as if formed from crystal, yet within their transparent bodies, a faint blue liquid could be seen flowing. This blue liquid sometimes shimmered with light, and sometimes formed tiny ripples on the surface of the spikes.
Xia He and Xiao Lin stood at the entrance of the abandoned research institute, facing the unusually large and threatening mutated plant. The zombies, enveloped by the plant's roots, struggled to break through. Xia He wielded her Green Dragon Crescent Blade, slashing at the horde of zombies with her sword's edge while constantly guarding against the roots that surged from the ground.
Her spiritual power condensed on the blade, transforming into a blue light that swept through the zombie horde like a rain of swords, knocking down some of them.
Xiao Lin used his spiritual power to clear out the surrounding enemies from a distance, gathering his spiritual power into sharp wind blades and sweeping them out to cut down some zombies that tried to get close.
