The woman who survived seemed to have lost all vitality, slumped in a corner without saying a word.
"What are you planning to do next?" Xia He asked.
The woman remained silent, so Xia He continued, "I killed the two upstairs girls. They didn't want to live anymore. What about you?"
"I...I want to live. I still have to find my brother. My sister was eaten by this beast, but my brother is still alive. I have to go find my brother." The woman kept repeating that she wanted to find her brother, as if she were possessed. Seeing this, Xia He didn't want to interfere anymore. Everyone has their own way of living. Xia He wasn't a saint and couldn't save everyone. Even so, Xia He still left the woman with medicine, a backpack full of water and food, and a long knife.
What happens next is up to the woman herself. Xia He has done what she could to help. She only came in because she thought it would be fun, but she never expected to see this scene. Natural disasters are merciless, and evil exists among us.
Xia He took A Yin and Xiao Hua out of the house and let the two little ones out. As soon as they came out, the two little ones pounced on Xia He, but then seemed to smell something and walked away in disgust. After Xia He regained her sense of smell, she found that she did have a strong fishy smell on her body, like she had eaten two legs of sheep.
So, Xia He took out the RV and let A Yin drive it first. She went to the RV bathroom, took a shower, and then asked Xiao Hua to take a shower. Xiao Hua said, "This divine beast can use magic to clean myself up. You don't need to go through all this trouble."
Xia He scoffed, "Anyone can use spiritual power, but nothing beats a relaxing bath. If you don't want to take a bath, fine." With that, Xia He went to the driver's seat, took over for A Yin, and told A Yin to take a bath too.
