Chapter 16, you'd better give it to everyone!

A group of people crowded forward, wanting to uncover the bucket that Lin Chaosheng and the others had tied up to take a look.

Lin Chaosheng and Lin Shansheng were not about to let them touch them, and Lin Shansheng put his hands on his hips and blocked their way.

"What? You won't even let us see it? Is there something you're ashamed to reveal?"

"What's there to hide? Show us!"

The fishermen were about to push Lin Shansheng aside and step forward to see what good stuff was in the bucket.

Lin Chaosheng pulled Lin Shansheng aside and smiled politely, "Everyone, you can watch, but please don't make things difficult for us after you've finished."

Seeing that Lin Chaosheng had given them a mouthful, the fishermen quickly untied the ropes.

The moment the lid was opened, everyone gasped.

The countless fish tails scattered a silvery light under the sun, so bright that they couldn't open their eyes.

A wave of envy rose in the fishermen's hearts; they couldn't believe how this gambler had suddenly become so capable.

This Lin Chaosheng is so young and yet more skilled than we have been fishing for so many years. Where do they put their faces?

Their greed and resentment led them to a wicked plan—to steal all of Lin Chaosheng's fish.

So they rolled up their sleeves, ready to take a hard line.

Lin Chaosheng felt alarm bells ringing in his mind when he saw them suddenly closing in.

He grabbed the handlebars and shouted, "Run, Shansheng!"

Lin Shansheng picked up the lid from the ground and covered the wooden bucket, then helped Lin Chaosheng push the wooden cart.

But the two of them were no match for so many people, especially with so much stuff to carry.

Seeing that the situation was not good, Lin Shansheng told Lin Chaosheng to take the things and run first, while he would clean up the mess.

Lin Shansheng turned around, picked up a wooden stick from the ground, and waved it at the fishermen.

"Let's see who dares to come closer!" Lin Shansheng roared with all his might, "If you want to steal our stuff, you'll have to step over my dead body first!"

When the fishermen saw that Lin Shansheng was alone, they sneered, "Alright, kid, we don't want to fight you. Just give us half of the fish you caught."

"That's right, don't let us beat you black and blue and say that we outnumbered you."

"Yeah, we don't want to do anything to you either. Anyway, you have so many fish, we just want half of them."

Lin Shansheng gritted his teeth and said, "Stop talking nonsense! I won't let you get a single one. Get out of here!"

When the fishermen realized that their gentle approach wasn't working, they exchanged glances and prepared to surround him and beat him up.

First, two fishermen rushed at him. Lin Shansheng kicked one of them in the stomach and then smashed the other man's shoulder with a wooden stick.

Seeing that the situation was not good, Wang Dazhu, who was in charge, signaled everyone to rush forward together, "Attack together!"

Everyone rushed forward and together overpowered Lin Shansheng.

Even if Lin Shansheng had all his strength, he couldn't push away the pressure from so many fishermen.

Seeing that Lin Shansheng was unable to move, Wang Dazhu immediately chased after Lin Chaosheng.

"Brother!" Lin Shansheng cried out as Wang Dazhu tried to grab him. "Run faster! Someone's coming to get you!"

Lin Chaosheng, who was running ahead, heard his younger brother's shouts and immediately whistled to summon Xiao Ba.

Wang Dazhu saw Lin Chaosheng standing there whistling like an idiot and cursed him under his breath, but then he heard an unusual wave sound.

"Ah! My boat!" The fisherman on top of Lin Shansheng was the first to see the scene—the once calm sea suddenly surged with huge waves, capsizing their boat.

After hearing the fisherman's screams, everyone looked over and found that their boat had also been capsized.

Upon seeing this, Lin Shansheng quickly pushed aside the loose "mountain of people" and turned to run towards Lin Chaosheng.

Seeing the panicked state of the family after their boat capsized, the two brothers exchanged a glance and ran home with their prey without stopping.

Lin Chaosheng ran and laughed, and Lin Shansheng laughed along with him. "Brother, this is really heaven helping us! Even the heavens want to help us!"

Lin Chaosheng nodded, but he knew in his heart that it was Xiao Ba and its companions who had worked together to overturn the fishermen's boat.

Upon arriving in the village, the two headed straight to the market, ready to launch a major sales campaign.

"Come on! Come and see! We just caught some fish this morning: crucian carp, common carp, ribbonfish, small yellow croaker... Come and take a look!"

Lin Chaosheng shouted loudly, attracting a crowd of villagers to watch.

Everyone peered into the wooden tub, where different kinds of fish were swimming happily.

"Chaosheng, are you really selling these fish?"

"There are no fish for sale now, are you really willing to sell to us?"

Everyone bombarded him with questions, and Lin Chaosheng smiled and began to pick up the prices, "Sell! I'm selling all the fish in these big buckets in front of me! I'll take two cents a pound for crucian carp and common carp, and five cents a pound for ribbonfish and small yellow croaker."

At first, no one believed it, but when they saw that Lin Chaosheng had quoted a price, they all expressed their gratitude.

"Oh, Chaosheng! You're such a kind person!"

"Yes, Chaosheng, you're the only one willing to sell fish. I really don't know how to thank you!"

"Our family hasn't tasted meat in so long, you are truly our benefactor!"

Some people were preparing to kneel down and kowtow to Lin Chaosheng as they spoke.

"No, no, I didn't give it to everyone for free, don't thank me like that." Lin Chaosheng quickly helped the old woman up, who was about to kneel down and kowtow.

"Tch, all pretentious. If you're so capable, why don't you give it to everyone?"

"That's right, pretending to be a great philanthropist. The real person is kind and has already given it all away to everyone."

"Go to hell!" Lin Shansheng's face darkened upon hearing this. "This was harvested by my older brother this morning with great effort, and he even gave it to you. Why are you always thinking about freeloading?"

"Wow, Chaosheng, you're really something now! Did you do all of this?" an old woman asked.

Lin Chaosheng waved his hand, "Shansheng and I were fishing together. We were able to catch so many fish today simply because we were lucky."

"Stop being modest. You didn't just get lucky. With so many fish, even if it was just luck, you wouldn't have the skill to catch them all!"

"Chaosheng, I'm very grateful that you sold us the fish, but the price you charged is also..."
