A visitor is a guest. Even though this guest was her most hated mother, Zhang Meng poured Liang's mother a glass of boiled water and placed it in front of her because of her sincere attitude. "Have a drink of water."
Mother Liang held the water cup and said gratefully, "Thank you, thank you!"
Zhang Meng sat across from her and asked directly, "What do you want to see me for?"
Although she had guessed something in her heart, she didn't want to point it out directly.
Upon hearing this, Liang's mother immediately put down the water cup in her hand and looked at Zhang Meng nervously, "Comrade Zhang, I heard that you are very good at catching and exorcising ghosts. Can you help my daughter? No matter how much it costs, our family is willing to pay."
Zhang Meng stretched out her hand and interrupted her, "I'm not short of money!"
The implication is that she is not going to help.
Liang's mother also understood, her face turned pale, and tears immediately flowed. "Comrade Zhang, I know my daughter is a mean person. I only found out these past two days that she actually did that to you and your family. I apologize to her. Is that okay with that?"
Zhang Meng smiled coldly, "Why are you apologizing? If anyone should apologize, it should be your daughter. You weren't the one who did that."
Liang's mother bit her lip with a pale face. "Comrade Zhang, just tell me what you want to do to save my daughter. I will do everything I can to save my daughter. Please, I only have this one daughter. Although she didn't listen to me and her father since she was a child and married a man like Zhou Jian, what can we do? She is our only daughter. We can only obey her and watch them from the side!"
Zhang Meng felt mixed emotions when she saw Liang's mother, whose face was full of maternal love.
Another child who was spoiled in the wrong way.
Zhang Meng stood up and said coldly, "Do you think that just because you say that, you can write a letter of denunciation on her behalf for hurting me and my family?"
Liang's mother stood up immediately, her eyes red as she shook her head vigorously, "No, that's not what I meant. I'm just, I'm just telling you what's on my mind. I know what that child did was too much!"
Seeing that the other person's face turned pale with fear, Zhang Meng had to lower her tone, "Liang Wenwen's mother, your daughter and I will never forgive her for what she did to our family."
When Liang's mother heard this, she knew that the other party had no intention of saving her daughter. When she thought of her daughter who was about to die at home, Liang's mother closed her eyes and knelt down in front of Zhang Meng with a thud.
Zhang Meng was startled by the collision sound coming from the ground. She turned around and found that Liang's mother, who had just stood in front of her, was now kneeling in front of her.
He immediately walked up to her and pulled her up, "Liang Wenwen's mother, what are you doing? Get up quickly."
Liang's mother shed tears and shook her head vigorously. "I can't get up, Comrade Zhang, I beg you, please save my daughter. I only have one daughter. If anything happens to her, I won't be able to live anymore. I beg you, please!"
As soon as she finished speaking, she shook off Zhang Meng's arm, knelt on the ground again, and banged her forehead hard on the floor.
The floor in Zhang Meng's house is made of cement and is very hard.
After a while, a layer of blood seeped out of Liang's mother's forehead.
Zhang Meng frowned upon seeing this, and after hesitating for a long time, she pulled her and said loudly, "Alright, stop knocking. I'll save your daughter, alright!"
If this woman were allowed to continue kowtow here, someone in her family would surely die.
Upon hearing this, Liang's mother raised her head with tears of joy, "Really? That's great! Thank you, Comrade Zhang, thank you! I kowtow to you, kowtow to you!"
Seeing her about to kowtow again, Zhang Meng immediately said something harsh, "I'm telling you, if you keep kowtowing to me, I won't save your daughter!"
Liang's mother, who was squatting down, stopped immediately when she heard the threat, and immediately stood up and said, "I won't kowtow anymore, I won't kowtow anymore."
After saying that, she wiped her tears and stared at Zhang Meng expectantly, "Comrade Zhang, can we go now? My daughter can't wait any longer."
Being threatened to do something was really uncomfortable. Zhang Meng replied unhappily, "Wait a minute, I'll go in and get something."
Liang's mother didn't care about her bad temper, as long as her daughter could be saved.
He watched Zhang Meng enter the room with a smile.
Not long after, Zhang Meng came out with a backpack on her back.
"Let's go!" Zhang Meng's face still looked bad.
Liang's mother smiled and responded, "Okay." After going downstairs, Zhang Meng realized that the Liang family actually had a car.
Later, when she thought about the threats Liang Wenwen had made to her, she suddenly understood.
Zhang Meng abandoned his bicycle and took the Liang family's car to his home in the county town.
After some inspection, the car finally entered the military compound safely.
Liang's mother got out of the car first, and then waited for Zhang Meng by the door.
Zhang Meng looked at the military compound with an expressionless face. It was quite big. It was probably where all the big guys from the military lived.
The Liang family lives in an old villa in the second row.
When they arrived at Liang's house, a woman dressed as an aunt came out to open the door for them.
As soon as Liang's mother came in, she asked the woman, "Auntie He, how is Wenwen? Did she come out for dinner?"
The woman called He Ma shook her head with a worried look on her face, "No, she hasn't come down yet. She stayed in her room and refused to come out."
Upon hearing this, Liang's mother looked at Zhang Meng anxiously, "Comrade Zhang, my daughter Wenwen has been hiding under the covers in her room these past few days. Whenever she comes out, she says a ghost is whispering in her ear, asking her to give up her life!"
