Chapter 340 Hua Hua Returns Home

Few children who grow up in the forest can't climb trees, and Sheng Xiping is an expert at it.

In previous years, it was mostly Sheng Xiping who climbed the tree to harvest pine cones.

The thick winter clothes affected his performance to some extent, but Sheng Xiping still quickly climbed up the tree, found a relatively thick branch, and sat on it.

Sheng Xiping untied the ropes binding the roe deer hide rug, and the rug fell directly to the ground.

At this point, there was no time to worry about anything else. Sheng Xiping quickly used a rope to tie the tree trunk to himself.

This is to prevent him from sitting in the tree for too long and falling off. With the rope in place, he doesn't need to hold onto the tree anymore. Since he can move his hands, he can shoot the wolves.

Just as Sheng Xiping tied the rope, the wolf pack caught up. Their eyes, glowing with a faint green light, shone eerily and strangely in the night.

Sheng Xiping counted them; there were about eleven or twelve wolves.

When he left home, Sheng Xiping loaded ten bullets into his gun and also carried two packs of bullets in his pocket.

That pack of bullets has twenty-five rounds, which should be enough to deal with the wolf pack below.

Thinking of this, Sheng Xiping felt much more at ease. "Come on, bring as many as you want, I'll take them all down today. Do you think I'm afraid of you?"

With that thought in mind, Sheng Xiping raised his gun and aimed at one of the pairs of eyes, intending to shoot a few wolves before they got close.

"Awoo."

Just as Sheng Xiping was about to pull the trigger to shoot the wolf, suddenly, a tiger's roar shook the heavens and the earth, causing Sheng Xiping to pause in his action of pulling the trigger.

A tiger? Really? Is tonight going to be this exciting?

He just wanted to kill the lynx to vent his anger. This guy is both a wolf and a tiger, what's he doing?

"Awoo!" Another tiger roar.

You can tell from the sound that we're closer to this place now.

It was obvious that a tiger was rushing towards them at great speed.

The wolf pack's formation crumbled the moment the first tiger roar rang out.

When the second tiger roared, some of the cowardly wolves tucked their tails between their legs and tried to run away.

The pack leader let out a low growl, as if warning the wolves that wanted to escape.

Just as the wolves hesitated, a strong and agile figure pounced on them.

The shadow moved with lightning speed, swooping down on the wolf pack leader and snapping its jaws around its neck.

With a snap, the wolf didn't even have a chance to resist before collapsing to the ground.

In a single encounter, the wolf pack leader was killed. Without the leader's command, the other wolves turned and ran, scattering in all directions.

Trying to run away? Not so easy.

The shadowy figure moved swiftly, leaping twice in succession to pounce on a fleeing wolf.

Then, with a single bite, the wolf instantly died.

"Awoo."

After killing two wolves in succession, the big guy did not chase after the pack. Instead, it stood still and let out another roar that shook the mountains and forests.

The wolves were terrified and no longer cared about organizing an attack; they all ran wildly, attacking with all their might.

Before long, the wolf pack scattered and disappeared.

The tiger strolled to the base of the tree, looked up at Sheng Xiping in the tree, and made a growling sound.

Sheng Xiping looked down at the creature below and felt that it didn't seem to be a fully grown tiger. Its size was a bit small, probably less than 300 pounds.

Sheng Xiping had a sudden thought and called out to the crowd below, "Hua Hua?"

It's been almost a year since I last saw Huahua. Although Huahua brings meat home every now and then, she always disappears without a trace, and even the people patrolling the forest haven't noticed her.

Is that a flower down there? Although Sheng Xiping already had a definite answer in his heart, he still tentatively called out "Er".

Upon hearing Sheng Xiping's commotion, the tiger below seemed to perk up immediately.

It jumped twice on the spot, then lay down on the snow, exposing its belly, while making purring noises.

It is said that when felines expose their bellies, it means they trust the other person and want to play with them.

When Hua Hua lived in the Sheng family, it often lay on the ground and let Sheng Xitai and Chen Feng rub its belly and scratch its itch.

Seeing the tiger's actions below, Sheng Xiping finally confirmed that it was indeed Hua Hua, the little tiger he had raised.

"Huahua, wait a minute, I'm coming down now."

After saying that, Sheng Xiping untied the rope from the tree, then hugged the trunk and slid down little by little.

Hua Hua, who was lying on the ground, saw Sheng Xiping come down from the tree and went straight over to him, rubbing her big head against his thigh while making purring noises.

Sheng Xiping squatted down, hugged Hua Hua's head, pressed his face against Hua Hua's face, and raised his hand to stroke Hua Hua's back.

"I didn't expect that after a year, my Huahua has become so amazing. She can kill wolves and scare away a pack of wolves."

"Wow, that's amazing! Huahua's grown up!"

Hua Hua seemed very happy, making "hmm" sounds in her throat, as if responding to Sheng Xiping's words.

The man and the tiger hugged each other in the snow for a while. Sheng Xiping remembered that his things were still under the tree, so he gently patted Huahu's head.

"Wait a minute, I have some roe deer and lynx over there, I'll bring them over for you to eat."

After saying that, Sheng Xiping went to the tree, refolded and tied up the roe deer skin rug, and dragged the lynx and roe deer carcasses over to Huahua.

"Eat."

Unexpectedly, Hua Hua didn't even look at the lynx and roe deer, but just nudged them aside with her paw.
