The excruciating pain in its lower abdomen rendered the pig powerless to resist. At that moment, under Erlang Shen's relentless biting, the large intestine was pulled out of the pig's anus.
This almost made Erlang Shen stumble, but he still held on tightly and didn't let go, instead pulling his intestines backward.
Upon seeing this, the leopard immediately rushed forward, bit off the intestines in one bite, and pulled them out forcefully.
Erlang Shen was a dog, and also the father of a leopard. When he saw his rebellious son trying to steal his food, Erlang Shen got angry and went forward to snatch it as well.
The leopard didn't care about any of that; with the intestines in its mouth, it turned and ran. A long section of pig intestines was dragged out by the leopard.
The already exhausted runner didn't even have the strength to scream anymore. He could only lie quietly on the ground, letting the pack of dogs tear him apart.
The wild boar stopped struggling, and Black General and the other dogs were also exhausted. They let go of the boar and lay down around it, panting heavily.
The dogs were exhausted. Not counting the two sows they caught earlier, just chasing this big basket must have taken them two or three hours.
The dogs were exhausted from the numerous fierce battles along the way, and they didn't even have the strength to tear apart the wild boar and eat its meat.
When Sheng Xiping rushed to the ditch and found the dog and the wild boar, he was stunned by what he saw.
Six dogs managed to rip the intestines out of a giant running basket? Nobody would believe that feat.
The six dogs in front of them were still lying on the ground, panting heavily, while the big running basket that weighed five or six hundred pounds was still alive, lying on the snow with barely breathing.
The ferocity that had filled those small eyes was gone, replaced only by the calm before death.
Upon seeing this, Sheng Xiping stepped forward with his gun, pulled the trigger, and shot the pig dead, saving it from further suffering.
Gunshots rang out, and Wang Jianshe and the others behind him heard them, so they sped up and ran towards them.
"Holy crap, what's going on?" When everyone got closer, they were all dumbfounded.
The pig's intestines and stomach were pulled out, and its hindquarters were mangled beyond recognition.
Anyone with eyes could see that this wasn't caused by Sheng Xiping cutting open the pig's body; rather, the dog had simply pulled out the pig's intestines.
"Xiping, your dogs are really vicious! They took down such a big wild boar without anyone's help?"
Wang Jianshe and the others circled the pig a few times, all giving it a thumbs up. They had never heard of such a fierce hunting dog before.
"Alright, enough of that. You guys hurry up and gut the pig. I want to check on the dog."
More than knowing how the pig died, Sheng Xiping wanted to know how badly the dog was injured.
So he called Wang Jianshe and a few others over to gut the pigs, while he squatted down and checked each dog's injuries one by one, applying medicine to the minor ones and bandaging the wounds of the more serious ones.
All six dogs were injured to varying degrees, with the most serious injury being that of Black General, whose neck and shoulder were gouged out by a wild boar's tusks, leaving a gash more than ten centimeters long.
Sheng Xiping carefully cleaned the wounds of General Hei, poured on some medicine powder, then took out a bandage and wrapped it around several times, and then secured it with a leg strap.
Throughout the entire bandaging process, General Black remained motionless, only panting heavily with his mouth open.
After bandaging the wound, Wang Jianshe and the others gutted the wild boar. Sheng Xiping shouted, "Cut off more meat to feed the dogs, don't feed the offal."
This pig was killed by the dogs through their own hard work. It's such a big pig, so just feed it as much as you want and don't worry about the meat.
Wang Jianshe removed the pig's heart and handed it to Sheng Xiping, who then cut the heart in two and gave it to Erlang Shen and the Black General.
These two dogs are the oldest and have passed their prime. Today's battle really exhausted them.
Sheng Xiping fed the pig's heart to the dogs, but the two dogs were too busy panting to eat the meat.
Upon seeing this, Sheng Xiping put the pig's heart on the ground and waited for the dog to rest before eating it.
On the other hand, the puppies, including Leopard and Fat Tiger, have strong recovery abilities. Sheng Xiping brought them some meat, and although the dogs were panting heavily, they held the meat in their mouths and slowly tore it apart to eat.
After the pig was gutted and its entrails removed, Chen Wei went over and cut a few tree branches to prop up the wild boar's belly, then stuffed snow into its abdominal cavity.
This allows the pork to cool down quickly, preventing it from becoming rotten and spoiled.
After finishing all that work, the group was exhausted and hungry. They didn't care about anything else and plopped down on the ground to catch their breath and rest.
Sheng Xiping raised his hand and glanced at the clock. It was almost one o'clock. "Did you bring all the rations? Let's build a fire and have some."
Running all over the mountains and fields all morning, no one could stand it.
I didn't realize anything when I was chasing the dog, but now I feel my stomach is empty, I'm starving, my limbs are weak, and I don't even want to move.
Even though they were exhausted, they still had to move. So, they reluctantly got up, went to find some firewood, built a fire, and roasted the dry rations they had brought.
Sheng Xiping's rule for going into the mountains is that all kinds of tools and bedding can be carried by someone, but dry food must be carried by oneself.
The main problem is that anything can happen in the mountains. What if people get separated? There's no food in the mountains, and that's no joke.
So even though Sheng Xiping and Sheng Xi'an both went into the mountains, they carried their own food, each taking their own portion.
Sheng Xiping also had an enamel mug with him, so he filled it with snow and put it on the fire to boil.
Everyone was starving, so they didn't care about cutting or roasting meat. They ate their dry rations and drank some hot water, devouring everything in no time.
After eating and drinking my fill and resting for a while, I finally regained my strength.
But now, everyone was in trouble again. How were they going to get such a big pig back?
