Su Ruyi reached out and pressed her hand on the cabinet door.
In less than a second, all the food had been transferred into her space.
Su Ruyi took her broken bowl and the two chopsticks of different lengths, turned around and walked out of the kitchen.
Guan Yumei was watching from the window of the main room when she saw Su Ruyi come out carrying her bowl and chopsticks.
She suddenly felt her legs go weak, rushed out and berated him, "You jinx, what kind of trouble are you causing now?"
Su Ruyi looked at her calmly: "I'll be going to the countryside in nine days. Since this family can't accept me, I'd better leave sooner rather than later."
"Where are you going?" Guan Yumei asked anxiously. "I just asked you to wash a pot, and this is what you do? Oh, I know, there's some random guy waiting for you outside, isn't there?"
Su Ruyi remained unmoved.
She had received four hundred catties of grain; if she hadn't deliberately suppressed it, she would have burst out laughing long ago.
She said in a calm but somewhat sad tone, "Guan Yumei, you are so pitiful."
Guan Yumei was stunned for a moment by her words, then burst into a tirade: "You jinxed jinx! When did it become your turn to pity me?"
Su Tong came out: "Mom, can't you just give me a moment's peace?"
He then looked at Su Ruyi and said, "Ruyi, don't be angry. There are empty rooms in the female workers' dormitory at Fourth Brother's factory. I've already spoken to Director Su, and you can stay for a few days. Let's go, let's move out now."
Su Ruyi nodded: "Yes, I'll listen to Fourth Brother."
Seeing that she was being completely ignored, Guan Yumei jumped up and said, "Did I agree to that? Are you all going to rebel?"
The two turned around and went back into their rooms to tidy up.
Guan Yumei was jumping up and down in the yard, cursing loudly with foul language that was unbearable to hear.
Su Ruyi returned to the storage room, put all her few personal belongings into her space, and then bent down to start packing the bedding into bundles.
Guan Yumei hesitated for a moment, then followed him to the storage room, clinging to the doorframe: "You jinx! You can't leave! You haven't come back to Wang'ao with me yet!"
