Chapter 893 I Like the Feisty One (1/2)

"My goodness, what if they all get relocated? Second brother, you're too cunning. You're too naive. You should have told me sooner, and I would have visited grandpa and grandma more often!" Dong Yun regretted and slapped her thigh.

"It's not too late now. Go out and explore more when you have free time. My grandma likes people who are energetic and outgoing."

Dong Yun... seems to only like Chunni.

"I don't like going to the second brother's place; I don't get along with Chunni."

Li Xingguo: "You're going to see your grandparents, not your second son and his wife. If you don't provoke Chunni, she won't go out of her way to cause trouble."

Dong Yun nodded heavily. "Then I'll go! Do you think Grandpa and Grandma can give us some?"

"It's impossible now. We don't have any boys in our family, and my grandparents are somewhat sexist."

Dong Yun was discouraged. "Then I'm not going. I won't get any benefits, why would I go?"

“If you don’t go, you won’t have any chance at all. If you go, you might have a chance. My grandfather said that they will pay for the children’s college expenses.” Li Xingguo looked at Dong Yun.

"Really? Then our little fish will go abroad for high school. Can grandpa and grandma pay for his studies?" Dong Yun's eyes gleamed with greed.

Li Xingguo: "Then it depends on you. Although Xiaoyuer is a girl, she's very promising, so whether she's a boy or a girl isn't that important."

"Yes, you're right, I'll go right now!" Dong Yun was eager to go.

“Let’s go together in a couple of days. You keep your mouth shut. If my grandparents find out you’re scheming against them, we won’t get anything,” Li Xingguo warned.

"Don't worry, don't worry, I'll definitely keep my mouth shut and won't let Grandpa and Grandma find out," Dong Yun quickly covered her mouth.

Two days later, on the weekend, Li Xingguo, along with his wife and children, carrying large and small bags, arrived at the old man's place.

The three of them took a taxi to the door and saw that the third brother's car was also parked there.

The couple exchanged a glance. The third son was cunning; how could he let the second son take advantage of this?

In the courtyard, Li Mancang, Wu Zhiqi, the third son's family, the second son's family, and Da Bao, Er Bao, and San Bao had all returned.

"Oh, my uncle is here!" Sanbao straightened up and wiped the sweat from his brow.

Everyone in the courtyard was weeding in the garden, and they were all sweating profusely. When they saw Li Xingguo and his family of three, their faces were full of surprise.

Li Xingguo felt an unprecedented level of enthusiasm from his family.

"Big brother, hurry up, that's your plot of land, the milk has already been distributed." The third brother pointed to a large patch of land in front of them, where it was hard to distinguish between seedlings and grass. If Li Xingguo's family hadn't come, they would have had to do this.

Li Xingguo...

Dong Yun...

Little Fish took two steps back. She didn't want to do it; if she got tanned, she'd be laughed at at summer camp.

"Xingguo is here. Your grandpa said you were coming. That plot of land is yours. It's all been allocated to you. We can't let the weeds suck all the nutrients out of the seedlings." The old lady said with a smile.

"Grandma, why aren't you spraying the medicine?" Li Xingguo asked somewhat awkwardly.

"Why use pesticides on your own food? I'm not letting you work for nothing. The vegetables in the garden will be divided among your families. Hurry up and put your things down and go now," the old lady urged.

Helpless, Li Xingguo could only put down his things and resign himself to his fate to get to work.

Dong Yun wanted to leave a good impression on the old lady, so she said, "Grandma, just call me if you need anything. I'm just sitting at home doing nothing anyway."

"I knew you were a good person; you didn't find fault with Xingguo back then," the old lady praised with a smile.

"Grandma, I'm going now," Dong Yun said happily as she walked towards the field.

Little Fish went inside and had no intention of leaving.

The old lady glanced at her and said, "You should go with your parents. I don't need you to come with me."

"Grandma, I'm going abroad in a couple of days, I can't get a tan." Little Fish didn't move.
