"I hope you're still this stubborn when we sign the agreement," Dong Yun glared at Dong Lan. If the sisters sued together, their chances of success would be much higher.
“I may be poor, but I have my principles. I take what I’m entitled to, and I don’t take what I’m not entitled to. Sister, I advise you to leave yourself a way out before you do anything.” Dong Lan gave Dong Yun a deep look, then turned and left.
Dong Yun slammed his hand on the table. "What are you pretending for? You're so poor you're peeing blood, and you're still pretending."
After leaving the house, Dong Lan called Dong Wei and said, "Little brother, my older sister might sue. She wants your house. If that's not possible, you should transfer the house to your father-in-law first."
Dong Lan genuinely cared for her younger brother, who was also having a difficult time.
Dong Wei paused for a moment, feeling somewhat ashamed. He had kept the matter of changing houses a secret from his second sister, fearing that she might have designs on the house.
"Second sister, I've settled the house issue. I swapped houses with Yang Fei's cousin, so the house is essentially sold."
Dong Lan was taken aback for a moment, then said, "Good, good. Just handle it well, that's all that matters."
Dong Wei: "Well, even if my eldest sister succeeds in her lawsuit, I'll only give her a small share of the proceeds from the sale of the house. There won't be any major losses. Second sister, come visit us sometime. Don't tell my eldest sister the address of our new home."
Dong Lan: "I know. I'll come back to see you when I have time. Wherever you are, that's my home."
Dong Wei's eyes reddened, and he hummed in agreement. Fortunately, his second sister hadn't changed.
The next day, Dong Yun took the agreement to Dong Lan. Dong Lan didn't dare to sign it rashly. She had a lawyer review it before signing. Her voluntary waiver was given to her younger brother, Dong Wei.
Dong Yun was surprised that Dong Lan would actually sign, which made her seem even more heartless and ungrateful.
"Big sister, I've signed this agreement. From now on, I'll only have one younger brother. Don't come to me with anything." Dong Lan's heart turned cold at this kind of older sister.
"Don't worry, even if I beg for food, I won't be able to get to your doorstep. I'm so poor I'm about to starve, and you're still pretending to be high and mighty?" Dong Yun turned and left, heading back to the courthouse.
As Dong Yun left the courthouse, he breathed a sigh of relief, hoping that God would grant him the house.
As soon as she got back to the rented room, she saw that all her things had been thrown out and the door was locked again.
"Hey, what happened? Who threw my things out?" Dong Yun shouted, hands on her hips.
A neighbor poked their head out and said, "That house of yours, you didn't rent it, did you? The original tenant moved out, and someone else rented it. You'd better find somewhere else to move out right away."
"Dong Wei, Dong Lan, you two are really something, forcing me, aren't you!" Dong Yun squeezed out a few words through gritted teeth, turned around and went out to find a car, loaded everything onto the car, and drove to Dong Wei's old house.
Dong Yun pounded on the door, shouting, "Dong Wei, open the door! You kicked me out of the rented house so you could make me come back, right? I'm back! Open the door! This is my home, and I have a share in it. Don't even think about taking it all for yourself."
Hearing the commotion in the yard, Yang Fei greeted his cousin. He knew his sister-in-law was bound to come back and cause trouble, and he knew who it was.
My cousin works at a slaughterhouse. He's a big, burly man with a menacing face. He'll yell, "What are you banging on? If you break the door, I'll chop your claws off!"
Upon seeing the man who opened the door, Dong Yun took two steps back in fright. "Who are you? What are you doing in my house?"
