Chapter 182

Qingshan brought Hongdeng to Seliek's bedroom, carefully pushed the door open a crack, and let Hongdeng in to investigate the situation.

A few minutes later, Hong Deng's loli voice sounded from inside the door:

"Master, come in, there's no one inside!"

Qingshan quickly slipped in. Seliek's bedroom was simply furnished, not as luxurious as one might imagine. A bed, a bookshelf, and a set of tables and chairs were all his belongings.

Qingshan looked at the smooth and spotless bed sheets. There was no sign that anyone had slept there. It seemed that Seriek had not returned to the bedroom at all.

Inside the bedroom stood a row of tall, exquisite bookshelves, the books on them looking very old. There were books in Latin, Arabic, English, Japanese, and other languages. Qingshan also found several strange stories from the Ming Dynasty. The titles and authors were unknown to him, so they must be rare and unique copies. Qingshan thought and put the books into the space.

Qingshan's eyes continued to wander over the bookshelf. The books were already covered in thick dust, not like they were often read. If he didn't read, why would Seriek have such a large bookshelf in his room? Was he pretending to be elegant in his own bedroom? Unless there was something strange about this bookshelf!

A thought flashed through Qingshan's mind, and she lowered her head to observe carefully. This time, she was not looking at a book, but at dust. Sure enough, in the corner of the bookshelf, there was an inconspicuous Bible, which was much cleaner than the other books.

Qingshan squatted down, wanting to pull out the Bible to study it, but the book didn't budge at all. Qingshan grumbled, thinking something was amiss. He applied force with his index finger, using the corner of the book as a pivot, and gave it a twist.

“Crack!”

The bookshelf made a crisp sound, then moved horizontally to the left, revealing a passage one meter wide and two meters high.

Standing at the entrance, Qingshan hesitated. "I don't know where this path leads. Should I notify Luo Wenyuan and wait for him to act together?" What if Seriek is in there? He might have heard me open the bookshelf. If he ran away, it would be terrible! Forget it, there's no time to lose. I'll go down and take a look first!

Qingshan quickly used a scissor to carve a few inconspicuous marks on the wall next to the bookshelf, and then walked into the passage through the entrance behind the bookshelf.

Seliek's bedroom is on the second underground floor of Saint Vlad. Qingshan walked while carefully feeling the direction of the passage and found that the road meandered downwards. The more Qingshan walked, the more he felt that the air in the passage was damp and cold, and it also had the fishy smell of sea water.

Qingshan thought to himself: Saint Vlad is built on a mountaintop facing the sea. Could this road lead to the seashore behind Saint Vlad? Oh no! Seriek is really trying to escape! Thinking of this, Qingshan quickly quickened his pace and ran down the passage.

About ten minutes later, after turning an almost right-angled corner, Qingshan saw a bright light in front of him and reached the exit.

Qingshan did not go out rashly, and sent Hongguang out to explore the way. Hongguang flew out at an incredibly fast speed, silently, like a wine-red phantom.

Hong Deng diligently scouted the surroundings and flew back to Qingshan: "Master, it's safe!"

Qingshan finally emerged from the passage. This beach lacked soft sand; instead, it was filled with jagged rocks, barely even a place to step. The red light flew away again, scouting further afield. Qingshan summoned his spiritual power, enhancing his vision to the maximum. He strained his gaze, searching for any suspicious figures.

Qingshan looked for a long time but didn't see any human figures. Instead, he discovered a cave about a kilometer ahead. As Qingshan was putting up his tent and looking carefully towards the cave, a red light flew through the air, leaving a red afterimage. With a loud buzzing sound, it landed on Qingshan's shoulder.

"Master, there are people in the cave! Two people, and your son is also here!"

Hongdeng knew Zhanfeng and knew that Zhanfeng was Qingshan’s apprentice, but it didn’t understand what apprentice meant, so Tuanzi explained to it that “apprentice” was the same as “son”, so in Hongdeng’s heart, Zhanfeng became Qingshan’s “son”.

"Zhan Feng?" Qingshan was horrified. "Let me see!"

"No, Master, the Lun family can't do this!"

Qingshan remembered that the red light for video transmission could only be used once every 24 hours, and it had been used in St. Vlad in the early morning.

Qingshan did not delay any longer and used his body skills to rush towards the cave.

"Hong Deng, besides Zhan Feng, have you seen another person?"

"I've seen it!" Hong Deng lay on Qingshan's shoulder, thinking it was very interesting to see his master carrying him and jumping forward on the reef. His loli voice was full of joy:

"I saw him in the basement of the hospital. His hair was a strange color, like a monkey's hair, yellow!"

Of the four vampire knights, only Seriek had blonde hair. But how could Zhan Feng be with Seriek? Qingshan felt anxious and frightened, quickening his pace as he ran towards the cave.
