Li Xiao felt even more embarrassed, having made everyone hungry until now.

"It's okay, I just ate some cookies, don't worry about it. I've been eating cookies all along, haven't I? It's no big deal."

Cheng Shaolin noticed that Li Xiao's expression was off and knew that she must be upset, so he tried to comfort her.

"Brother, you knew perfectly well, so why didn't you call me?"

Cheng Shaolin looked at Li Xiao's mouth, which was practically greasy, and laughed: "What are you yelling for? You're doing something, and I don't even know where you are. How can you just disturb me? It's not like we're out of food. Besides, even if we weren't, it's okay. It's not like we've never been before. You don't need to feel guilty."

Li Xiao watched Cheng Shaolin for a few moments and, seeing no dissatisfaction or impatience on his face, finally felt relieved.
