They were all starving. It was already afternoon, and they had been hungry for so long, yet no one had called out to them.

"I'll go and let them eat." She said as she ran out carrying the basin.
Li Xiao felt even more embarrassed, having made everyone hungry until now.
"It's okay, I just ate some cookies, don't worry about it. I've been eating cookies all along, haven't I? It's no big deal."
Cheng Shaolin noticed that Li Xiao's expression was off and knew that she must be upset, so he tried to comfort her.
