I found a room on the second floor. The door was open, and there was nothing strange inside. I just tidied it up. It wasn't like I was staying there permanently, so there was no need to be so particular.
The zombies outside have already been cleared out, so we can stay on the second floor and wait for our shift to start.
The few who had some free time wanted to go and find out more information, but Yu Yanbin told them that it would be better to have too many people, so they gave up.
Seeing that there was nothing else to do, Li Xiao said she needed to organize the supplies in the space and then prepared to close her eyes.
It's been a while since I've properly cleaned up my space, so now that I have plenty of time, I can finally give it a good tidying up.
"Go ahead and do it, I'll keep watch for you." Cheng Shaolin sat down next to her, staring intently at her.
Looking into Cheng Shaolin's affectionate eyes, Li Xiao's ears felt a little hot, and ripples began to stir in her heart.
She had witnessed Cheng Shaolin's behavior over this period, and each time it was gradually breaking down the barriers in her heart.
She had previously said she would give the other person time, but over time, she herself was gradually crumbling away.
You're not heartless or emotionless. How could you not be moved by a man who is devoted to you and whose looks are exactly what you like?
It's perfectly normal to have feelings for someone; there's nothing wrong with that. I know exactly what I want, and in the days to come, having someone who understands me and works together to make a living would be a wonderful thing.
Li Xiao wasn't averse to it, because she longed for beautiful and sincere feelings, but she was also more hesitant and afraid of disappointment.
Cheng Shaolin seemed to understand Li Xiao's feelings, and didn't go overboard, but simply protected her silently.
This actually made Li Xiao feel more at ease. And so, without revealing anything to each other, the two of them shyly and quietly sprouted a tender affection, their tender leaves quietly unfurling.
"Okay." Li Xiao agreed, and closed her eyes with a sense of relief as she entered the space.
The space hasn't been properly organized in a long time. To save space and store more supplies, I'll tidy it up properly today.
First, go to the vegetable garden to harvest some vegetables and plant a few practical crops: potatoes, taro, sweet potatoes, and corn.
Wheat was still planted in the field, so we can make more flour to make steamed buns later.
Some of the fish in the pond were already quite large, and Li Xiao used her consciousness to remove them all and put them into the bamboo basket next to her.
The bamboo basket was collected from the wild; I kept it thinking it would be useful. Now it's perfect for holding fish.
Sigh, Li Xiao had a headache; what should she do with these live fish?
Space is fine, but live fish is a different story; it's hard to find an excuse.
We need to think of a solution. These fish can't just keep growing like this; they're laying eggs, and the smaller fish won't have room to grow. We can't just stop them from laying eggs.
There were some seafood items she didn't dare take out. She had to dry them, wasting so much fresh seafood.
There's nothing we can do about it. Spatial abilities are somewhat believable, as they're considered supernatural powers. But the fact that they can produce living beings is another story.
As the old saying goes, wealth can be very tempting.
Even in previous societies governed by the rule of law, there was no absolute stability or the absence of bad people, let alone the apocalypse that some people dream of.
She can't block it.
Li Xiao sighed inwardly. Now she could only dry more goods herself, that was the only way she could take them out to eat, and she couldn't think of anything else.
Thinking this, Li Xiao kept scooping out all the large fish, shrimp, and crabs from the pond and the small ocean.
Li Xiao cleaned everything up little by little. She froze the fish and shrimp, and dried the sea fish. She also dried some kelp and jellyfish skin.
She only realized it was in her personal space when she started working on it!
The space can keep the fish fresh, but you can't let it dry out inside.
Li Xiao stood there stunned, completely bewildered. She had thought things through so smoothly that she hadn't considered this point at all.
She was stunned and speechless for a long time, staring at the lively fish all over the ground, her lips twitching.
Oh dear, what are we going to do about all this?
Feeling utterly exhausted, Li Xiao decided to ignore everything else and focus on something else first. With that thought, she left the fish scattered on the shore of the small ocean and headed to the supply depot.
This contains supplies that were purchased before, as well as supplies collected later.
Those that could be piled high were piled up high, and those that couldn't be piled up were neatly stacked.
Fortunately, the space for upgrading superpowers increased later on, otherwise there would have been nowhere to put the collected supplies.
Looking at the space filled to the brim, Li Xiao felt a great sense of accomplishment. She had collected all of these little by little, and was very satisfied with her efforts.
Li Xiao smiled as she looked at the supplies that would make her life easier in the future, and quickly got to work.
Continue stacking them high and neatly. Place items that don't need to be moved at the bottom, and frequently used items on top.
Li Xiao was completely absorbed in the space, carefully examining every corner, afraid of missing anything.
I put everything in a specific place so that I can easily access it later.
They did it methodically, and time passed quickly.
By the time she came to her senses, quite a while had passed. Realizing there was a time difference between her and the outside world, Li Xiao quickly left the space.
When she opened her eyes, she found herself surrounded by a group of people, all staring at her intently, which terrified her.
"What's going on?" Li Xiao stammered.
"Uh, I was just watching you because you hadn't moved for a while." Tian Tian was also a little embarrassed.
"Ahem, Xiaoxiao, it's already 3 p.m.," Cheng Shaolin said tactfully.
Li Xiao was taken aback. "Ah, why didn't you call me?"
