Chapter 42 Yellowstone Trip 4

Chapter 42 Yellowstone Trip 4

After walking for more than twenty minutes, Zhang Wei felt a little hot when he saw a small black dot moving in the distance.

"Look! Isn't that a moose?" She immediately pointed it out to everyone.

However, it was too far away and they couldn't see clearly. However, the tourists in front of them were obviously more excited than them and immediately ran towards the black spot shouting.

"How stupid!" Venus complained.

They still followed the planned route, but it did overlap with the route taken by the tourists ahead of them.

Zhang Wei was a little worried that those people would scare the elk away, affecting their chance to see it up close. Dora also wanted to take a photo with the elk.

As they got closer, the leader Joe in the front suddenly changed his expression and said:

"Oh no! It's a herd of buffalo! Take the children and go!"

Then he carried Paris on his shoulders. Venus and Ruth also moved quickly, carrying Zhang Wei and Dora respectively and ran away.

The speed was so fast that Zhang Wei didn't have time to confirm whether it was a bison or an elk.

And they immediately heard the wailing of tourists in front of them, which were obviously coming towards them.

Zhang Wei heard Venus's curse again: "A bunch of idiots!"

It was obvious that Venus and the others were moving very fast. Zhang Wei only felt the whistling of the wind. She turned her head and looked back, only to see a bison running towards them, getting closer and closer to the four people.

Fortunately, the other bison did not move. Only those few people ran and shouted to Zhang Wei and the others: "Help! Help in front!"

It would be strange if Venus and the others paid any attention to it. They didn't even touch their guns. It seemed that they realized that a bison was not a big threat.

In the end, Zhang Wei watched helplessly as the man running at the end was knocked over by the bison, and the other three people fled in all directions.

Fortunately, the bison didn't seem to be particularly interested in humans. It butted the man once more, and when it saw that he didn't dare to move, it slowly walked back to the group.

Joe and the others finally stopped, and Paris said to them with red cheeks excitedly:

"Did you see that? He was gored by a bull!"

"He won't die!"

Zhang Wei looked back and saw that the other three people who had just fled when the disaster struck finally went back to check on their companion. The man was helped up and seemed to be injured, but he could still move.

"Not dead, see"

Joe and his friends decided to stay away from these idiots, so they took a shortcut and arrived at their pre-planned destination ahead of time.

To be honest, this hour was quite thrilling. If they had relied on their little arms and legs, they would have been defeated by the bull.

Although I didn't see any elk, I did see a real bullfight, so it wasn't too bad.

They did not get off the car to hike for the rest of the journey, but stayed in the car. When they were about to leave Grand Teton, they finally saw the elk they had been longing for.

But Dora didn't shout to go out. She just lowered the window in the car and took a few photos. It seemed that she also had some psychological trauma about the bison incident.

Just when Zhang Wei thought their trip was over, the last day gave them an unexpected surprise - a helicopter ride.

It turned out that they had been allowed to go deep into the scenic area to experience the beautiful scenery in the previous few days, and on the last day they took a helicopter to tour the previous route from the air.

This is so extravagant! So tempting! What should I do?

Of course, he happily went there. Zhang Wei even forgot about his fear of heights...

Although she got on the helicopter as soon as she was brave enough, she didn't dare to look outside at first. Fortunately, she got used to it after flying many times. When she saw the beautiful scenery from the sky, she unconsciously forgot her fear of heights.

Ruth also said that if they wanted to skydive, she could take them, but Zhang Wei didn't dare to try it. She shook her head like a rattle.

But Paris wanted to give it a try, and within two minutes, Ruth jumped with Paris in her arms, carrying a parachute.

"That—" Dora started.

"You don't want to jump too, do you?" Zhang Wei couldn't help but shudder. The thought was terrifying.

"No, I want to ask, where did they jump to? How are we going to meet up later?" Dora couldn't help but touched her chest and said.

At least she wasn't the only one who was afraid, Zhang Wei thought with relief. She still had some self-respect.

When Zhang Wei and his team landed, Paris and his team had already arrived. It turned out that the landing site was fixed, and after arriving, a car would take them back.

In short, for Zhang Wei, this was truly an unforgettable journey. It turns out that life in this world can be lived like this.

They finally had Mexican food. The tacos were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and they were filled with meat sauce and hummus. They were very flavorful and slightly spicy. They were really delicious!

So much so that when Zhang Wei returned home, she couldn't stop thinking about it and shared it with the Wilsons. They said they would take her there to eat again at the next family gathering, and Zhang Wei began to look forward to it again.

After resting at home for a day, Zhang Wei began to complete her holiday homework. The homework seemed to be quite a lot, and it was bound into a notebook with more than ten pages.

The first item is to ask you to introduce your travel route. You have two options: you can describe it in words or draw a picture.

Zhang Wei first found a map, circled the places he was going to visit, drew them in proportion on his exercise book, and then described them in words.

The states in Country A are divided very neatly, and the routes are relatively easy to draw. Apart from spending some time memorizing the names of the states and each place, Zhang Wei completed everything else quite quickly, and it took him about an hour to finish.

The second question is to describe the scene that impressed you the most. It can also be answered in two ways: drawing or writing, but this time both methods are required.

Drawing made Zhang Wei a little troubled. The Grand Prismatic Lake was the easiest to draw, but for her, the encounter with bison on the grassland was still the most impressive. She believed that Dora would also choose this scene, but Dora's drawing was good.

In the end, she didn't use watercolor pens because the color of watercolor pens was too dark and difficult to change. She first used colored pencils to outline the appearance of the bison. Zhang Wei found this bison from an album. Dora's photo had not been developed yet, otherwise it would have been much easier to paint from the photo.

She used several different shades of green to draw the grass, and then used light gray to outline the snow-capped mountains in the distance. After thinking about it, she decided to draw the man who was gored by the cow and his companions who were fleeing in all directions. Although the characters were really ugly, she was done.

Just this second question took her nearly two hours. Half a day had already passed, and she doubted she could finish it in a day or two...

Is this really a first-grade student's homework? Or is her level not up to par? Zhang Wei fell into deep self-doubt.

She called Dora in the evening, and after listening to what Dora said, Zhang Wei realized that it was her own problem...
