Chapter 102 The Sour Smell of Love
As soon as Jiang Wan saw Sun Qianyu and Jiang Shengming's faces clearly, she heard a chorus of cheers and jeers erupt from the surrounding area.
"Why is the class monitor so late?"
"Is that even a question? I'm waiting for my girlfriend!"

"Wanwan, I'm going crazy! I did incredibly well on my college entrance exam!" Sun Qianyu was so excited that her voice even cracked with tears. "I've never gotten such a high score before, it's amazing, amazing, you know?"
Jiang Wan chuckled and said, "I know."
"What do you know?" Sun Qian's tone rose, a mixture of surprise and doubt. "I haven't even told you how many points I got."
"Anyway, I know you must have done very well on the exam." Jiang Wan was still smiling. "I can tell from how happy you are right now."
“Okay, I’ll stop pretending.” Sun Qianyu cleared her throat. “I scored 692, wow! My parents are already excitedly flipping through the application guide for previous years’ cut-off scores, saying that with this score I should be able to get into one of the top schools in Beijing, like Renmin University or something.”
Jiang Wan: "Congratulations, you can go to university in Beijing with Jiang Shengming."
"Hey, you can't say that entirely. I want to go to Beijing because you're going to Beijing too." Sun Qianyu chuckled, then asked, "How did you do on the exam? Over 700 points, right?"
"Yes, I did pretty well on the test too, 713 points," Jiang Wan replied.
"Wow, that's amazing, sister!" Sun Qianyu's voice was even louder than hers, "You're definitely going to Tsinghua University! I'm going to apply to a school close to Tsinghua so I can be closer to you in the future."
"Come on, do you think I don't know you?" Jiang Wan scoffed. "You want to be closer to me? You clearly want to be closer to Jiang Shengming."
"Oh, you're all at Tsinghua University, isn't it all the same?" Sun Qianyu chuckled shyly and muttered softly, "Being closer to each other makes it easier to date in the future."
Sun Qianyu spoke the last sentence softly, and because Jiang Wan's house was full of phone calls, she didn't quite hear it. "What?"
"It's nothing." Sun Qianyu coughed lightly. "Are you busy over there? I heard your parents talking. Maybe I should hang up now and go think about applying to universities."
"Okay, bye-bye."
A little over a week later, Sun Qianyu happily shared the good news with Jiang Wan, saying that she and Jiang Shengming were together.
Although Jiang Wan could guess that Sun Qianyu acted quickly, she was very curious as to why Jiang Shengming agreed so quickly.
Sun Qianyu refused to reveal any details about her confession, which was a pity since she had originally wanted to use it as a reference to figure out how to finally confess to Zhou Chong.

Having not seen him for a while, she almost forgot that Zhou Chong was a human alarm clock, always on time, never late or early.
"Speaking of which, how are things between you and Zhou Chong lately?" Sun Qianyu picked up her glass, took a sip of juice, and asked, raising an eyebrow.
Jiang Wan spread her hands and pouted, "What else can it be? Same as always. We haven't seen each other since the summer vacation."
"Huh?" Sun Qianyu almost choked on the juice she had just drunk. "Never even met him once?"
“Yeah, he went abroad before, and then I came back to Suzhou, and that’s how it is now.” Jiang Wan shrugged. “There’s nothing I can do about it, it’s all to spend time with family. Anyway, we’ll be going to university together soon, so we’ll have plenty of time later.”
“That’s true. You’re in the same school, which is much more convenient for you than for me and Jiang Shengming.” Sun Qianyu nodded in agreement.
"Are Renmin University and Tsinghua University that far apart?" Jiang Wan glanced at her sideways. "They're only two subway stops apart. If you want, you can come and have dinner with Jiang Shengming every day after class."
"Why do I have to go out to eat with him every day? Can't he just come to me?"
The two had been whispering to each other, but Sun Qianyu didn't keep her voice down, and Jiang Shengming, who was next to her, heard her say this.
Jiang Shengming peeked out from beside her, leaned over to Sun Qianyu, and patted her head. "Okay, I'll come to have dinner with you every day from now on."
"That's more like it." Sun Qianyu pouted and muttered softly, then handed the empty cup back to him, her lips curving upwards. "Another cup, please."
Jiang Shengming naturally took the cup and poured her another glass of juice.
Jiang Wan raised her hand to cover her eyes, turned around, and exchanged glances with the others at the table before suppressing their laughter.
At that moment, a cheer erupted from behind.
Jiang Wan turned around and saw that it was Lao Fan.

"Teacher Fan, please come and sit here."
Old Fan walked in with a smile. Just as his classmates invited him to sit down, the wind chimes hanging at the shop entrance rang out with a clear tinkling sound.
Before Jiang Wan could look away, Zhou Chong's figure appeared in her line of sight.
He was wearing a shirt and black trousers, with straight, slender shoulders, a completely different look from when he wore a school uniform every day.
