Once Zhou Shuya was out of sight, the assistant made no attempt to hide his worry.

The assistant understood Mingyao's intention, nodded slightly, and turned to leave.

“There’s really no other way,” Mingyao sighed, took a sip of water before continuing, “If we just chat and make Mr. Wang happy, he’ll just agree to sign the contract, right?”
To some extent, she and Mr. Wang did indeed secure the contract through conversation.

As the man pushed open the office door, a gust of wind slipped in.
The wind carried the unique scent of pine emanating from Pei Siyu, along with a chilling coldness that seeped into the bones.
The office, which had been at a normal temperature just moments before, became icy cold after he entered.
From the walls and paintings to the desk, the small ornaments on the desk, and finally the floor, everything exudes a chilling aura.
Zhou Shuya pursed her lips into a thin line, and couldn't help but shiver. "President Pei, what do you want to see me about?"
She suppressed her trembling voice and asked, trying to sound calm.
