Chapter 97 Sister Mo becomes the darling of Class F

It wasn't until Ling Mo's arrival that they realized they hadn't been sentenced to death by fate.

If we start working hard now, it's not impossible for everyone to advance.

“Ling Mo, why don’t you come up on stage and say a few words?” Cheng Chengqian politely gestured for him to come up and asked with a smile.

"Sister Mo is so cool, I want to have your babies!"

"Hehe...I want to have Mo Jie's baby too."

"I want to have nine children, nine babies in one pregnancy, and Mr. Mo's priceless wife will run away with the baby."

“Then I’ll have ten, ten babies in one pregnancy, and Sister Mo’s live-in son-in-law will be the most favored.”

The students all turned to stare at Ling Mo, all their enthusiasm and admiration turning into a simple and blunt declaration—to have babies for Sister Mo.

Ling Mo sat expressionlessly in the middle of a group of fans, and replied indifferently, "Having babies is really unnecessary."

The girl in front of me said seriously:

"If Sister Mo were a boy, she would definitely be the person I most want to marry."

"Me too."

Cheng Cheng casually echoed, then suddenly realized the tone was a bit off, coughed awkwardly twice, and quickly tried to cover it up:

"What I mean is, the best kind of admiration isn't 'I like you' or 'I want to marry you,' but 'I can, and I want to, be as good as you.'"

Ling Mo listened to Cheng Cheng's endless stream of toxic motivational quotes, then opened the carbohydrate drink that Gu Tingbai had brought her and chug down most of it.

I have to say, these cynical chicken soup quotes are actually quite delicious.

Lemon flavor, incredibly addictive.

"Ling Mo, why don't you come up on stage and say a few words?"

Cheng Cheng extended another invitation to Ling Mo, hoping that her words would reassure everyone in Class F.

Ling Mo sighed helplessly. There was no way to avoid it, so he slowly stood up and walked onto the podium amidst the expectant gazes of the crowd.

"Without further ado, let me set a small goal. In the midterm exam at the end of the month, everyone here must improve by at least fifty points compared to the last standardized test. If you do not reach this goal, please hand in your mobile phones and other electronic devices until you do."

"Ling Mo, isn't fifty points too difficult?" Cheng Cheng asked with a troubled expression.

“No discussion. Remember to send me the class's standardized test scores later.” Ling Mo raised an eyebrow and said firmly.

Outside the window, Qin Beiming, who seemed to be passing by unintentionally, immediately spotted Ling Mo on the podium, whose face was cold and indifferent.

He put his hands in his pockets, paused briefly, and a soft light appeared in his sharp, hawk-like eyes.

This child is absolutely adorable.

When he's not talking, he's cool and aloof, but once he opens his mouth, the two chubby cheeks on his face look exactly like the kitten he just adopted.

Smith, who was standing beside Qin Beiming, noticed that Qin Beiming had suddenly stopped and followed his gaze.

"I knew it! So that's why you insisted on dragging me around the teaching building. It turns out it was for this Miss Ling. Who's the boy next to her? He looks much younger than you."

"Where are you looking youthful? You're as dark as charcoal, are you as fair as me?"

Qin Beiming's tone was rather sour, and he found Cheng Cheng, who was standing next to Ling Mo, to be increasingly annoying.

Why are you standing so close?

Was it to serve as a backdrop for Ling Mo, to be her foil?

"This boy looks very sunny and energetic. His skin is indeed a bit dark, but it doesn't detract from his handsomeness at all."

Mr. Smith realized that Qin Beiming had become extremely jealous and was becoming increasingly unruly, wildly teetering on the edge of being beaten.

"..."

Qin Beiming felt increasingly uneasy, so he turned around abruptly and walked faster and faster.

Do you like dark-skinned men?

Isn't that easy? He'll go get a tan right now.

At that moment, Xiao Yingying, who was carrying lesson plans, saw Qin Beiming appear at the entrance of Class F. Her heart was pounding, and she quickly followed him with small, quick steps.

"Medical Assistant Qin, you've come at the right time. Could you please take a look at me? I've been feeling tightness in my chest and shortness of breath all day. What could be causing this?"

Qin Beiming ignored her, raised an eyebrow, gave Mr. Smith a look, and then hurriedly left the teaching building.

Mr. Smith had no choice but to put on his signature friendly smile and calmly look at the affected Xiao Yingying:

"Besides chest tightness and shortness of breath, what other symptoms do you have?"

"You can treat patients? I still trust Assistant Qin more."

Xiao Yingying glanced sideways at the kind Mr. Smith, her enthusiasm for Qin Beiming completely gone. As soon as she finished speaking, she turned around quickly and pushed open the tightly closed door of Class F.

"Face-obsessed!"

Mr. Smith uttered those two words indignantly, pulled out his small mirror, and sighed, "Is it really true that there's no market for full beards anymore?"

On the other side, as soon as Xiao Yingying entered Class F, she heard waves of cheers from the students of Class F.

She frowned unhappily, glancing sideways at Ling Mo, who stood indifferently on the podium, and Cheng Cheng, who was speaking with great enthusiasm. Without asking why, she rolled her eyes and launched into a tirade:

"The midterm exams are coming up soon, and you still have time to play around? Especially you, Ling Mo! Don't think that just because you got first place in the grade, you can do whatever you want."

“Teacher Xiao, we’re not playing around.” Cheng Cheng stood calmly in front of Ling Mo, rarely arguing with Xiao Yingying.

"If we weren't just fooling around, how could we be arguing like this?"

Xiao Yingying was so angry that her breath was snorting. She slammed the lesson plan she was holding onto the lectern and roared:

"If you don't want to go to class, then don't. You'll all have to copy the text as punishment."

"Teacher, you haven't even started the lesson yet, why are you already accusing us of not wanting to attend?" A petite girl in the front row timidly raised her hand, cautiously glancing at Xiao Yingying's increasingly dark face.
