Zhou Sui was still wondering what was going on when there was a knock on the office door.
"Come in." Zhou Peng thought it was someone coming to see him, but it was Zhou Sui's administrative assistant who pushed open the door.
"Mr. Zhou, a Mr. Song is waiting for you in the lobby."
Zhou Sui slapped her forehead. Oh no! She was so busy gossiping that she had forgotten such an important thing.
I've arranged to have lunch together with Song Qi'an!
Zhou Sui reached into her pocket, only to find it empty. She had also forgotten her phone. No wonder Song Qi'an had come looking for her.
"I'm coming right now." Zhou Sui could imagine that her phone had many missed and unread text messages.
As soon as she stood up, Zhou Peng also stood up. "Is that Qi An? We haven't had lunch together since he came back. It's lunchtime, so I'll go with you and treat Qi An to a meal."
Zhou Peng only had contact with Song Qi'an when he first started selling boxed lunches at his stall, but his mindset back then was very different from now.
Song Qi'an is so outstanding, there must be many things I can learn from him, and it's always good to make more friends with him.
Moreover, he could guess that Song Qi'an must have taken good care of the others when they went out last weekend.
Among them, Zhou Sui took the most care of him. As his older brother, he should treat him to a meal to express his gratitude.
Zhou Sui was taken aback. In the short moment she was stunned, Zhou Peng had already walked over and was even urging her on.
"Let's go, don't keep Qi An waiting."
Zhou Sui couldn't seem to find any excuse to stop them for a moment, and then the brother and sister appeared together in front of Song Qi'an.
"Qi'an." Zhou Peng was still greeting Song Qi'an when he said, "There's a really good restaurant nearby. They make our local specialties really well. Let's go try it together."
Zhou Sui was right behind Zhou Peng. When Zhou Peng couldn't see her, she looked at Song Qi'an apologetically.
Song Qi'an received her eye signal and, indicating that he understood, stood up from the sofa.
"If you have time, let's go eat together."
“Perfect, let’s go together.” Over the past two years, Zhou Peng has gradually become more talkative.
He walked side by side with Song Qi'an, talking to Zhou Sui as they went.
"Sui Sui, come over here, don't block Qi An."
Zhou Sui, who had finally managed to get to Song Qi'an's side, was unsure whether to laugh or cry.
"It's alright, she can walk this way." Song Qi'an glanced at the person beside him, stretched out a hand to protect Zhou Sui, which looked to others as if he was half-embracing Zhou Sui.
Zhou Peng glanced at the two of them, feeling that they were acting strangely, but he couldn't quite put his finger on it.
The restaurants were not far apart, and the three of them arrived at the restaurant in less than ten minutes.
Zhou Peng was a regular customer there, and even though it was lunchtime, the waiters still found the three of them a relatively quiet spot.
The dishes were served quickly, and Zhou Peng and Song Qi'an started chatting while eating. When Zhou Peng learned that Song Qi'an and Zhou Sui were neighbors, he stopped picking up food.
Zhou Sui was afraid he would misunderstand, so she hurriedly explained, "That community was originally developed by their company, so he kept one apartment for himself. It just so happens that when I bought my apartment later, it was next to his."
"That's quite a coincidence." Zhou Peng felt he didn't know what else to say besides "coincidence."
But Song Qi'an added, "Sui Sui has a good eye for choosing houses; she picked an excellent location."
