Cheng Yue spoke with utmost sincerity, leaving Zhou Sui speechless.
"Even if my condition for returning to the Cheng family is that you can't stay there?"
Cheng Yue's face fell slightly. She pursed her lips and said, "I quite like you, sister. But if you're willing to go back, I won't stay in the Cheng family. Anyway, I'm not a member of the Cheng family."
She made it sound so easy, but the Cheng family would probably be furious if they heard it.
Zhou Sui was at her wit's end, because it was clear that Cheng Yue genuinely wanted her to return to the Cheng family.
"So, sister, you agree to go home?" Cheng Yue blinked her big eyes at Zhou Sui.
Zhou Sui coldly replied with a single word, "No!" She would only return to the Cheng family if she was seriously ill.
"Did you come out and tell the Cheng family?" Zhou Sui suddenly remembered this question.
Then Cheng Yue shook her head, and when Zhou Sui glared at her, Cheng Yue quickly added, "I left a note."
That's more like it, otherwise I might accidentally become the one who trafficked Cheng Yue.
"Let's go back, I'm busy." Zhou Sui saw that it was almost time and prepared to go to the milk tea shop next door to start making cakes.
But Cheng Yue, that little tail, really isn't someone you can just call away. Zhou Sui was busy in the kitchen, so she couldn't go in and just talked to the staff outside.
The shop assistants were all older than her. They saw that she was pretty and delicate, and spoke in a soft voice. Using the name of Zhou Sui, she actually became familiar to everyone.
Zhou Meimei was extremely curious. "Which branch of Zhou Sui's family are you related to? I've never heard of any relatives in the Zhou family with the surname Cheng."
Needless to say, she was familiar with the Zhou family. Even Zhou Sui's maternal grandmother's family was surnamed Li, and there was no one surnamed Cheng at all.
Cheng Yue couldn't reveal their relationship, so she snapped, "I'm not telling you."
"Hey, you little brat, you think you're out of ideas just because you told me? I'll ask Zhou Sui later."
Cheng Yue made a face at her and then ran to the milk tea shop next door. The milk tea there smelled so good and was so sweet; she loved it.
Zhou Sui had just finished making the cake and came out when she saw Cheng Yue still in the shop. Her face darkened, and before she could speak, Cheng Yue said ingratiatingly.
"Sister, I didn't slack off. I helped with the work. I carried all this flour here."
Every day at noon, the flour mill would deliver flour to the store and place it on the stool at the entrance. Because a bag of flour is very heavy, it usually takes two female employees working together to carry it to the kitchen, or they would wait until the snack shop was free and have a strong boy come over to help carry it to the kitchen.
But now the flour has been moved to the kitchen doorway, and Cheng Yue quickly explained, "They said you can't go in while you're busy inside, so I put it at the door."
"I'm moving in now."
After saying that, Cheng Yue bent down and held the flour sack by both ends with her hands.
"No, you~" Zhou Sui hadn't finished speaking when Cheng Yue picked up the flour. "Sister, where do you put it?"
"Put it down!" Zhou Sui rushed over immediately, lifting such a heavy thing by force, not afraid of hurting her back.
Cheng Yue did as instructed, put down the flour, looked at Zhou Sui whose face had darkened, and nervously rubbed her hands together. "Sister?" Had she done something wrong?
Just then, a shop assistant walked over and said to Zhou Sui with a look of amazement, "Manager, your sister is so strong! She can lift a whole flour ball with one hand!"
Zhou Sui thought there was something wrong with her ears, and then she saw Cheng Yue lift up a bag of flour with one hand, as if she were taking credit for something.
A series of urgent bell rings came from the doorway, "Yueyue?!"
