Li Yi said, "I'll go open the door!"
Qin Suyun and Zhou Mei both shook their heads.
Zhou Mei's father had already heard their voices inside the house.
"Qin Suyun, open the door quickly!"
"Zhou Mei, it's me, your father! Open the door!"
Qin Suyun and Zhou Mei were so frightened that they turned pale and dared not open the door.
However, the more Zhou Mei's father, Zhou Qiang, refused to open the door, the harder he pounded on it.
"Bang bang bang!!!"
The knocking on the door grew more urgent and violent, as if they were about to break down the door at any moment.
Zhou Mei gripped Qin Suyun's hand tightly; both of them looked terrified and at a loss.
Seeing this, Li Yi gently patted Zhou Mei's hand to reassure her, then stood up and slowly walked towards the door.
"I'm here, everything will be fine!" Li Yi said.
"Don't open the door!" Zhou Mei shouted anxiously, "If you open the door, it will be a real problem!"
Li Yi: "If you don't open the door, trouble has already arisen. Don't worry, I'll handle it!"
Zhou Mei and Qin Suyun nodded.
Li Yi arrived at the door and opened it.
Standing outside the door was a middle-aged man with a full beard and disheveled clothes; he was Zhou Mei's father, Zhou Qiang.
His eyes were bloodshot and he reeked of alcohol; it was obvious he was drunk again.
Zhou Qiang was stunned when he saw Li Yi, then angrily said, "You Qin Suyun, you actually kept a gigolo behind my back!"
As he spoke, he kicked Li Yi.
Li Yi already knew that he had a bad relationship with Zhou Mei and her daughter, and now that he wanted to take action, Li Yi naturally wouldn't let him do it.
Even Zhou Mei's father was dealt with by Li Yi.
Li Yi dodged to the side, and at the same time hooked his foot around Zhou Qiang's foot, gently pulling him so that Zhou Qiang stumbled and almost fell.
"Watch your mouth!" Li Yi snapped.
Having suffered a setback right from the start, Zhou Qiang's drunkenness had sobered up considerably.
His eyes were bloodshot and filled with hostility as he asked:
"Who are you?"
Li Yi remained calm and said indifferently, "I'm Zhou Mei's friend. What do you want with us?"
“Friend? Boyfriend? Let me tell you, Zhou Mei is my daughter, don’t even think about making a move on her!” Zhou Qiang said, and tried to barge into the house.
Li Yi reached out to stop him, his tone carrying an undeniable authority: "Stop! This is none of your business, not a place where you can run wild."
Zhou Qiang was stunned by Li Yi's imposing manner and hesitated for a moment, but then roared, "I'm her father! How dare you talk to me like that? Get out of my way and let me in!!"
After saying that, Zhou Qiang squeezed in forcefully!
