"Are you sure you only took it today?" Zhao Qinglan raised an eyebrow.
Liu Ying felt flustered under her gaze, but thinking that she hadn't been caught before and had already eaten the things she had taken, she said confidently, "I took them today. I saw that no one was in the store, and I was momentarily blinded by greed and took the things. I was wrong, Mr. Zhao."

She used to have a great job that everyone in the residential area envied, but now she's lost it. This is the cruelest punishment for Liu Ying.
"No, you can't fire me! I'm a military dependent. You made arrangements with the military region leaders. How can you fire me? I'm going to report this to the leadership!" Liu Ying threatened.

"Go find whoever you want, we don't need you anymore. Get out of here and don't let me see you again," Zhao Qinglan said with disgust.
Before Liu Ying could say anything more, Zhao Qinglan pointed at the man and said, "The police are still here. If you keep making trouble, I'll have them take you away. You've already admitted to the theft."
"What? They're arresting me?" Liu Ying didn't even bother with her bag and ran away.
"Qinglan, what if she really goes to the leaders to cause trouble?" Wu Mei asked worriedly.
"I'm waiting for her to make a scene," Zhao Qinglan said with a cold laugh, arms crossed.
