Ji Lu looked at the table full of homework and whispered, "Sister-in-law, can you teach me how to draw?"

Mu Han said softly, "Okay."

Ji Lu immediately said happily, "My sister-in-law is so nice, unlike some people."

After saying that, she made a face at Lu Zhizhi and immediately turned around. Ji Lu said in a childish voice, "Sister-in-law, can you draw a picture of me?"

Mu Han looked at Ji Lu looking at him with his big, kazilan eyes and said helplessly, "Okay."

After saying that, Mu Han took out a tablet from his bag, and Ji Lu also took one from the side, and the two of them started drawing quietly.

When Mu Han was halfway through painting, Ji Lu finished and was watching Mu Han painting. Suddenly, Ji Lu said, "Sister-in-law is amazing."

Mu Han smiled and continued to paint. After a while, Mu Han finally finished painting. As soon as he turned his head, he saw Lu Zhizhi sitting opposite him, staring at his right hand. Mu Han didn't know when Lu Zhizhi sat opposite him. He found that he was looking at himself. I didn't wear a ring.

Mu Han subconsciously explained, "Because it was a bit troublesome, you put it in your pocket."

Lu Zhizhi nodded without saying anything. Mu Han had no intention of taking the ring with him. Ji Lu looked at the picture Mu Han had drawn for him and was extremely happy.

Lu Zhizhi looked at this scene with great envy. He had drawn pictures for me before, but I didn't cherish them at that time. Now it's too late to regret. He will never draw pictures for me again.

Ji Lu also took out his painting. Mu Han looked at the painting but really didn't understand it.

Ji Lu explained seriously, "This house is our house. Dad is on the far left, then me, then my brother, and next to my brother is my sister-in-law. We are a happy family."

Mu Han smiled gently and touched Ji Lu's head lightly.

Just when the good atmosphere was about to begin, a knock on the door suddenly broke it. Lu Zhizhi said irritably, "Come in."

His assistant cautiously pushed the door open and said, "Mr. Lu, everyone is here and we've been waiting for you."

Lu Zhizhi said with an impatient tone, "I know."

Lu Zhizhi looked at Mu Han and his tone immediately changed. "I'm going to a meeting."

Lu Zhizhi strode out. Seeing him walk away, Ji Lu blinked and looked at Mu Han, stammering, "Sister-in-law, I'm hungry. I want to eat something delicious."

Mu Han thought for a moment and said, "I'll wait for you to go out and eat."

Ji Lu looked at the door and said cautiously, "No, sister-in-law, wait for me here for a while."

Ji Lu immediately got off the sofa, ran to Lu Zhizhi's office, and moved a medium-sized box. Seeing this, Mu Han immediately ran over and moved the box over.

Ji Lu opened it, and Mu Han looked at the box full of snacks, a little surprised. He remembered that Lu Zhizhi never ate snacks. Mu Han asked tentatively, "Did your brother buy all these himself?"

Ji Lu said while eating potato chips, "I think so, but I've never seen him eat it."

Mu Han said slowly, "Okay."

After saying that, Ji Lu handed him potato chips and said with a smile, "Come on, sister-in-law, eat quickly. I haven't eaten for a long time. My father won't let me eat. My brother won't let me eat either. You are still the best, sister-in-law."

Mu Han said gently, "You can eat snacks, but don't eat too much, understand?"

Ji Lu ate the snacks and nodded. Mu Han looked at the snacks and had no appetite. He took a candy from his pocket and put it in his mouth.

Ji Lu recovered after a while. Mu Han looked at Ji Lu, whose face was covered with food stains, and smiled.

Ji Lu said with a silly smile, "Okay, then sister-in-law, hold me."

Mu Han had just picked him up and walked towards the bathroom when he saw Lu Zhizhi pushing the door open. Lu Zhizhi looked at Ji Lu, whose face was covered in stains, and then at the snacks on the table. Ji Lu suddenly buried his entire face in Mu Han.

Seeing this, Lu Zhizhi immediately walked over and looked at the soiled clothes. He was about to speak when Mu Han spoke first, "It's okay. I'll just go wash it."

After saying that, Mu Han walked into the bathroom without looking back. Mu Han washed Ji Lu first and asked him to leave. He then cleaned the dirty areas himself.

After a while, Mu Han opened the door and saw Lu Zhizhi and Ji Lu standing at the door, with Lu Zhizhi holding a shirt in his hand.

When Lu Zhizhi saw Mu Han coming out, he said, "Hanhan, this is my clothes, but I haven't worn it yet."

Mu Han said politely, "No, he'll do it in a moment."

Lu Zhizhi pleaded in his tone, "You're so wet, you might catch a cold soon."

Ji Lu followed and said, "Yes, sister-in-law, put it on first and then we'll talk."

Finally, Mu Han gave in. Lu Zhizhi asked him to go to the lounge to change his clothes. After a while, Mu Han came out. Lu Zhizhi looked at him wearing his shirt, so thin, and his heart was pounding.

Mu Han saw Lu Zhizhi was looking at him and gradually felt uncomfortable. Seeing this, Lu Zhizhi immediately looked away, walked in front of him, lowered his head slightly, and whispered in his ear, "Hanhan, put on the ring, okay?"

Because they were so close to each other, Lu Zhizhi's breath hit Mu Han's ears, and her face suddenly turned red. Ji Lu stared at the homework book spread out on the table, his brows wrinkled into a small pimple. Suddenly, he looked up at Mu Han and said in a soft and tentative voice: "Sister-in-law, can you teach me how to draw?"

Mu Han was flipping through the documents. Hearing this, he looked up with a gentle smile in his eyes: "Okay."

Ji Lu's face lit up instantly, and she swung her legs on the sofa, deliberately stretching out her tone: "Sister-in-law is so nice, unlike some people who only know how to be mean to me." As she spoke, she secretly made a face in Lu Zhizhi's direction. Seeing that he didn't look at her, she quickly turned back, tilted her little face up and acted coquettishly, "Sister-in-law, can you draw a picture of me? Draw me at my most handsome!"

Mu Han was unable to refuse because of his pair of sparkling big eyes, so she smiled helplessly and said, "Okay."

He took out a tablet and a pressure-sensitive stylus from his bag. Ji Lu also excitedly took over his children's tablet. The two sat side by side on the sofa. For a while, the only sound was the rustling sound of the pen tip sliding across the screen.

When Mu Han was halfway through his painting, Ji Lu came over with a tablet in his hand, showing it off like a treasure: "Look, sister-in-law, I'm done!" There were a few crooked little people on the screen, but they exuded a childish seriousness.

"Excellent drawing," Mu Han praised with a smile, then lowered his head to continue perfecting his painting. After another ten minutes, he finally stopped writing. Just as he looked up, he was met with a burning gaze. Lu Zhizhi had sat down in the chair opposite him, his eyes fixed on his right hand. He had put the ring in his pocket, and the bare knuckles were particularly conspicuous.

Mu Han's heart skipped a beat, and he subconsciously explained, "It's a bit troublesome to wear it while painting, so I put it in my pocket first."

Lu Zhizhi didn't say anything, just nodded, but the emotions in his eyes seemed to be covered by a layer of fog, making it difficult to see clearly. Mu Han felt a little uncomfortable when he looked at her, so she simply didn't put the ring back on and turned to look at Ji Lu's painting.

Ji Lu was holding Mu Han's portrait and grinning foolishly. The portrait of him was full of curved eyebrows and eyes, and there was a little cream on the corner of his mouth, making him look very vivid. "My sister-in-law's painting is really good! It's a hundred times better than my brother's stick figure!"

Lu Zhizhi sat across from him, his Adam's apple twitching slightly as he stared at the painting. Mu Han had drawn pictures of him before, pictures of his profile working at his desk, pictures of him frowning in meetings, but he'd always considered them a waste of time and just put them aside. Now that he thought about it, how much unspoken love and affection did those neglected paintings hold? He regretted it so much that it nearly turned green, yet he didn't even have the courage to ask for another painting—Mu Han, presumably, was no longer willing to paint for him.

"Little sister-in-law, look at mine!" Ji Lu pushed his painting towards him like he was presenting a treasure. Mu Han leaned over to take a look. The painting showed a crooked house. On the left stood a man wearing glasses, next to him was a child with pigtails, then a tall figure, and on the far right leaned a slender person.

Ji Lu pointed at the painting and explained carefully: "This is our home! Dad is on the far left, then I am, this is my brother, and next to my brother is my sister-in-law! Our family must be happy forever!"

Mu Han's heart seemed to be gently bumped by something. He smiled gently and reached out to touch Ji Lu's head: "The painting is really good."

In this warm atmosphere, there was a sudden knock on the door. Lu Zhizhi's brows furrowed instantly, and his tone was clearly irritated: "Come in."

His assistant pushed open the door and lowered his head cautiously: "Mr. Lu, the heads of all departments are here, waiting for you to start the regular meeting."

"Got it." Lu Zhizhi's voice turned a little colder, but when he stood up, he deliberately glanced at Mu Han, and his tone softened instantly, "I'm going to a meeting and will be back soon."

As soon as Lu Zhizhi walked out of the door, Ji Lu approached Mu Han, lowered his voice like a little adult, and blinked his eyes: "Sister-in-law, I'm hungry and want to eat delicious food."

Mu Han thought for a moment and said, "Wait until your brother comes back, then we can go out for dinner, okay?"

Ji Lu rolled his eyes, looked at the closed door, and whispered, "No, no, sister-in-law, just wait for me here for a while!"

As he spoke, he quickly slid down from the sofa, ran to the back of Lu Zhizhi's desk, and dragged out a box half a person's height with great effort. Mu Han was startled and hurried over to help, moving the box to the side of the sofa.

Ji Lu excitedly tore off the tape, revealing a box overflowing with snacks—potato chips, chocolate, jelly, and a dazzling array of imported candies. Mu Han was a bit taken aback. He remembered that Lu Zhizhi never touched these things, and didn't even allow snacks in the office. "These... were all bought by your brother?"

Ji Luzheng tore open a bag of potato chips and stuffed it into his mouth, mumbling, "I think so. I've never seen him eat it. Dad said that my brother didn't like to eat these when he was a child."

Mu Han picked up a bag of strawberry-flavored gummy candies and rubbed the wrapping paper with his fingertips. He had no appetite, so he took out a piece of fruit candy from his pocket, peeled off the candy wrapper and put it in his mouth. The sweet taste spread on his tongue.

Ji Lu was full after eating for a while, with potato chip crumbs on the corners of his mouth, just like a little squirrel stealing food. Mu Han looked at his face full of stains and couldn't help laughing: "Come on, I'll take you to wash your face."

"Then my sister-in-law wants to hug me." Ji Lu stretched out his arms and acted coquettishly with confidence.

Mu Han had just picked him up and turned to go to the bathroom when the office door suddenly opened and Lu Zhizhi walked in. His eyes first fell on Ji Lu's face covered with crumbs, then swept across the open bag of snacks on the table, and his brows instantly twisted into knots. Ji Lu shrank back in fear and buried his face in the crook of Mu Han's neck, not daring to look up.

Lu Zhizhi came over and his eyes fell on the front of Mu Han's stained shirt. Just as he was about to say something, Mu Han said first, "It's okay, it's just a few crumbs on it. I'll go wash it."

He carried Ji Lu into the bathroom, carefully wiping the little guy's face and hands clean before coaxing him out. Then he cleaned the stain on his shirt in front of the mirror. The cold water seeped into the fabric, feeling a bit cold against his skin.

Not long after, Mu Han pushed the door open and came out, and saw Lu Zhizhi and Ji Lu standing at the door. Lu Zhizhi was holding a clean white shirt in his hand.

"Hanhan, this is my spare shirt. I haven't worn it yet." Lu Zhizhi's voice was a little unnatural. "It's wet in such a large area. You'll catch a cold if you wear it."

Mu Han subconsciously refused: "No, it will be dry after blowing for a while."

"Be obedient." Lu Zhizhi's tone was pleading, his eyes full of worry, "What if you really catch a cold?"

Ji Lu also chimed in: "Yes, sister-in-law, put it on first, brother's clothes smell good!"

Mu Han couldn't resist them, so he took the shirt and went to the lounge to change. When he came out again, the loose shirt covered his body, the sleeves rolled up several times to reveal his wrists, and the collar was loosely open, revealing a bit of his delicate collarbone, which made his figure look even more slender.

Lu Zhizhi's gaze was like being drawn to a magnet, his heart pounding and his Adam's apple rolling uncontrollably. Mu Han felt uncomfortable being stared at by him and was about to step back when Lu Zhizhi suddenly stepped forward, lowered his head slightly, and his warm breath brushed against his ear. His voice was so soft it sounded like a sigh: "Hanhan, put on the ring, okay?"

At such close distance, the breath of his body temperature touched the sensitive tip of her ear, and Mu Han's face suddenly turned red, and even her neck was stained with a thin layer of red.
