Chapter 63 Ruan Xianxian: Don't move, I'm going to yell "pervert!"

"I know! My name is Ruan Xianxian, I'm from Beijing, I'm eighteen years old, and I responded to the organization's call to go to the countryside to build rural areas. I'm not married yet. What about you?"

Ruan Xianxian's big eyes curved into crescents, and she blinked.

Feng Bai tilted his head slightly, almost blurting out the words, "25 years old and still unmarried."

He clenched his fist and coughed lightly, "According to my investigation, Comrade Ruan did not lose any money. Why would he frame a fellow soldier?"

He always felt that the woman's way of speaking was strange, and it always steered his conversation off-topic.

I had originally planned to hand over the investigation to my subordinates after the flood, but I changed my mind after seeing her today.

My intuition tells me that anyone else would have failed to get anywhere with this woman who seems to be talking nonsense but is actually completely undetectable.

She was arrogant, but her arrogance was hidden beneath her harmless appearance.

Feng Bai's eyes deepened.

A former member of a family suddenly becomes enlightened, not only turning the Ruan family, who had been bullying her, upside down in a short time, but also rescuing her grandmother from persecution as soon as she went to the countryside.

Who provided her with the information that Yan Fenghua would be in trouble?

Criminal cases are usually handled by the police, but enemy agents are another matter. He will not allow the newly stable north to give outsiders another opportunity to take advantage of it.

A bloodthirsty glint flashed in his eyes; those people really had no patience for evil!

Feng Bai casually raised his eyes. Who was the girl opposite him from? Japan? Or Taiwan?

Was she turned against her? Or... was she switched and had her identity taken over?

He looked at Ruan Xianxian, whose fair face and delicate nose, and whose lips were red from the fever, perfectly blending innocence and allure, and tapped his index finger on the table, waiting for her answer.

The girl looked up from the rising steam, feeling a little guilty, but that guilt lasted less than three seconds before she regained her confidence.

The soft, harmless expression on his face vanished, replaced by a sharp, stern smile. "Comrades-in-arms? Comrades-in-arms wouldn't team up to steal and rob."

Feng Bai remained noncommittal, asking, "Stealing and robbing? Didn't you set this up first? You're always wandering around the village with a bag of newspapers on your back."

Ruan Xianxian laughed in anger, suddenly stood up, pressed one hand firmly on the table, and leaned forward slightly.

"Feng Bai, Commander Feng, Feng Da Li, what right do you have to question me? Do you insist that I should only try to fix things after I've lost the money, or that I should take precautions against thieves every day?"

She knew that the missing money was just a breakthrough that Feng Bai had found, and that he would gradually induce her to confirm what she had done, until she confessed to murder.

She knows the interrogation techniques!

I know which emotion to use to deal with it, but I don't quite understand why, although murder is a serious matter, the correct way to handle it is to hand it over to the police. Why does it require a regimental commander to personally intervene?

She called his name, his title, and even his nickname. Feng Bai, who also stood up and lowered his eyes, felt confused. Was she... angry?

Feng Bai is a regimental commander who has fought his way up in real battles. He may also have a naturally aggressive personality. He doesn't like defensive tactics and doesn't wait to be attacked before he knows how to fight back.

To some extent, I agree with Nguyen Hien Hien's approach of luring out potential enemies early and annihilating them in one fell swoop.

The only thing he disagreed with, or rather, didn't understand, was Ruan Xianxian's handling of the matter. She should have dealt with the people involved according to the law, instead of tormenting them under her nose every day.

It's like revenge born from some deep-seated hatred.

He looked at the other person's puffed-up face, his eyes flashed, and he coldly gave a two-word evaluation: "A liar and an unruly person."

Ruan Xianxian sneered, "Yes! But... what's it to you?"

Her tongue traced across her lips, her heart burning with anger. She thought this man was crazy. She stepped over the corner of the table. Because of the night's flood control efforts, Feng Bai, whose military uniform was soaked, was wearing work clothes on his upper body.

The cuffs were pulled up, revealing a bronze forearm that was not overly menacing but had well-defined muscles.

Ruan Xianxian stumbled, and Feng Bai instinctively reached out to help her. Ruan Xianxian took the opportunity to fall into his arms, hooking her long, well-proportioned legs around the man's waist and abdomen.

Feng Bai's expression suddenly turned cold. He grabbed one of the slender arms draped over his body and was about to throw her over his shoulder when Ruan Xianxian pressed her other hand lightly against his Adam's apple.

The protrusion under his palm slid slightly, and in that split second when Feng Bai was distracted, the woman on top of him seized the initiative. She raised her head triumphantly, swaying her little head left and right in front of him, showing off her power.

Ruan Xianxian applied a little force, pressing down hard on Feng Bai's Adam's apple, and whispered in his ear, "Don't move, or I'll yell 'pervert' if you move again."

Feng Bai froze, too stiff to move. Ruan Xianxian leaned closer to him and chuckled, her gaze shifting slightly downwards. "Even with a mouth like yours, you can't explain it clearly!"

He looked up and met a pair of unfathomable dark eyes. With his life in someone else's hands, Feng Bai braced himself on the table with one hand, took several deep breaths, and squeezed out each word as if from between his teeth:

What do you want to do?

"What are you doing?" Ruan Xianxian laughed.

"I should be asking Commander Feng, if someone who hasn't seen the whole picture and is just blindly believing things saw our current state, would they believe that Commander Feng was forced or had no other choice?"

After saying that, she snorted coldly and was about to loosen her legs when a large hand suddenly pressed down on her waist. "Don't move!"

The long legs that were originally wrapped around the man's narrow waist lost their grip, and the whole body slid down uncontrollably. The next moment, Ruan Xianxian froze completely when she sensed something.

The voice was filled with disbelief, "You, you actually... a scoundrel!"

Feng Bai felt a little embarrassed and bent over slightly, bouncing the woman in his arms upwards to prevent her from touching him.

Taking advantage of the moment when Ruan Xianxian's attention was diverted, he gripped her neck tightly with his large hand, pressed her down on the table with his other hand, and easily controlled her two flailing hands, pinning them behind her back.
