"Still feeling unwell? Hmm?" Feng Bai slowed down and walked alongside Ruan Xianxian without anyone noticing. The man was at least 1.9 meters tall, and his presence was extremely imposing.
As a shadow fell, Ruan Xianxian looked up and met Feng Bai's overly sharp eyes, and suddenly smiled.
"What? You've been avoiding me for a while, and now you're finally stopping?"
Feng Bai's brow twitched, and he lowered his eyes, his pupils reflecting the little girl's face, which was gradually becoming more and more excited with pride, her eyes sparkling.

The military tent was different from the small tents they set up themselves; it was spacious and bright, with tables and chairs, and a simple bed on the side.
"Sit down." Feng Bai gestured to the chair, picked up a cup from the table, poured her a glass of warm water, and handed it to her. "Drinking more hot water will help you recover from a fever."
Ruan Xianxian reached out and took it, her fingertips inadvertently brushing against the man's large palm.
Feng Bai abruptly withdrew his hand, his palm, which had been touched by the soft fingertips, felt faintly hot. He quietly clenched his fist at his side.
The gaze fixed on Ruan Xianxian was, for a moment, almost ferocious.
She pretended not to notice Feng Bai's strangeness, sipping the hot water slowly. In the steam, the girl's features became even more beautiful and delicate, every part of her was beautiful, just like a doll in the Friendship Store window.
After a long silence, Feng Bai sat down in the chair opposite him, his eyes regaining their calm, his hands crossed on the table, and his body leaning slightly forward.
