Chapter 389 Green Train

"OK!"

Everyone agreed, and Lu Feng took the train tickets and glanced at the time.

He had almost forgotten how long it had been since he last rode a green train; the memory was so distant that it could be traced back to the time when Lu Feng had just graduated in his previous life.

However, what he didn't expect was that the green train he rode on decades later would be completely different from the one he was riding now; the green train of decades later was a luxurious upgraded version of the one we see today.

Outside the train station, a Crown sedan stood out conspicuously. As Lu Feng stepped out of the car, his glamorous appearance instantly attracted a lot of attention.

"Brother, brother!"

Lu Feng had just picked up his suitcase when someone called him from behind. He turned around and saw a thin man with long hair wearing a leather jacket. When the jacket was opened, it was filled with various electronic products.

"How about a mobile phone or a pager? They're cheap!"

"No!" Lu Feng waved his hand.

"It's absolutely easy to use, don't worry, it's all stolen, don't worry."

Lu Feng, pulling his suitcase, waved his hand without turning his head to indicate that he didn't need it. He had only taken a couple of steps when an older woman came over and winked at him, saying, "Looking for a girl?"

Lu Feng walked straight past her, and along the way, more than a dozen people asked him all sorts of questions: accommodation, massage, finding girls, selling electronic products, and so on.

Lu Feng also sensed that he seemed to stand out from the crowd because he was particularly wealthy, which was why these people had approached him.

Upon entering the station, which appeared somewhat dilapidated, many eyes swept over Lu Feng. Trains are definitely places where all sorts of people mingle; these days, trains are not safe at all, and theft and robbery are commonplace.

The people around him mostly had pale faces, messy hair, and wore old clothes that had been washed many times, sitting on the ground.

In contrast, Lu Feng had a neat hairstyle, fair skin, clean and brand-new clothes, and bright, piercing eyes. He stood out from his surroundings. If he hadn't come here, Lu Feng wouldn't have known he was so handsome.

Lu Feng felt slightly uneasy and looked around. A clear voice rang out beside him: "Is this spot taken?"

Turning around, Lu Feng saw a girl, who looked to be in her early twenties, wearing a floral dress, with two thick braids, and her face full of innocence.

"No!"

The girl sat down, glancing shyly at Lu Feng.

"The train to Dongguan is on its way! Time to check tickets! Show your tickets!"

A ticket inspector started shouting through a megaphone. Nowadays, there's no system; everyone shouts through handheld megaphones. Some places are so poor that they don't even have handheld megaphones.

Lu Feng took the ticket, stood up, and left.

"Are you going to Dongguan too?"

"yes!"

"What are you going to do? This is my second time going on a long trip. My cousin is making a lot of money in Dongguan and she wants me to go too."

"Oh, oh!" Lu Feng didn't pay much attention. He wasn't interested in other people's stories and hurried through the crowded throng.

The little girl followed closely behind him. Lu Feng handed his ticket to the ticket inspector. As the people in front moved forward, Lu Feng saw a man holding a long, thin pair of tweezers snatch money from the pocket of a man next to him.

"Here's your ticket. Take it and get on the train, carriage five!!"

Lu Feng was jolted back to his senses by the loud noise. He took the ticket, took a deep breath, and thought to himself, "This train journey is probably not going to be peaceful!"

Once on the train, Lu Feng realized it was quite different from the trains he had traveled on before. There was no water heater, no sink, only one toilet, and the seats were hard. The carriages were not well-made, and in some places you could even see gaps as wide as a finger.

Forget about air conditioning.

The advantage of this is that the mixed stench inside the carriage isn't as overpowering, making it barely bearable. The disadvantage is that it's absolutely freezing at night!

"You sit here, I'll sit next to you." The little girl followed.

Lu Feng glanced at his ticket and saw that he was indeed sitting next to someone. He nodded and sat down. When he looked up, he suddenly realized that the man holding the money at the ticket gate was sitting diagonally opposite him, staring at him intently.

When he noticed Lu Feng looking at him, he looked away.

Damn, I feel like I'm being watched.

"Attendant, do you still have any sleeper berths available?" Lu Feng asked the attendant.

"No, we'll let you know if we do." After saying that, the train attendant shouted to everyone, "Pack your things! Be careful, there are so many people, it's hard to find what you've lost. Let me tell you, the people on this train are all different, you don't know what they do for a living, so be careful!"

As the train started moving, Lu Feng regretted it; he should have called to postpone it.

"My name is White Plum Blossom, and yours is White Plum Blossom?" the girl asked.

"Lu Feng!"
