Chapter 538 Wrong Private Room

"Wait a moment!"

"Huh?" Lu Feng turned around, looking bewildered. "What's wrong?"

Sister Yue took her bag, pulled out a business card, and handed it to Lu Feng, saying, "It's fate that we met. Call me tomorrow morning, and I might be able to help you."

"Really?" Lu Feng took the business card, overjoyed, and said, "Thank you, Sister Yue!"

"You're welcome. It's fate that we met. You can go back now."

Lu Feng exchanged a few polite words, closed the door, put the business card in his pocket, and turned around to run into Lang Biao, who was standing in the hallway looking at Lu Feng.

"You scared me!" Lu Feng exclaimed, panting heavily.

"What are you doing running to Sister Yue's private room?" Lang Biao said with a meaningful smile. "Kid, let me remind you, you have to tell the difference between dumplings and your sister-in-law. Hot dumplings will burn your mouth, and your sister-in-law will break her leg."

"What is this? I just went into the wrong private room," Lu Feng explained.

"The moment you walked in today, I saw your shifty eyes. You were so eager to find out about Sister Yue. I know you're not a local, so don't cause trouble. I just want to remind you that this world isn't just about romance; it's also about heroes having moments of weakness!" Lang Biao slapped Lu Feng's shoulder heavily.

"Shouldn't you be in the lobby?" Lu Feng asked.

“Someone’s fighting, so I stepped in to stop it.” Lang Biao patted his chest and said, “Here, I’m the boss. There’s no one I can’t handle. I’m the embodiment of justice and the messenger of peace.”

"Alright, alright!" Lu Feng realized he was quite talkative, so he quickly stopped him from continuing and walked towards the private room.

The private room had already entered the second half of the event, and the scene was quite indescribable. Boss Xiao had also drunk a bit too much, and he was hugging Boss Hao's neck, calling him "brother" over and over again.

Lu Feng went in and had a few drinks, then pushed the girls away. After another half hour of lively conversation, President Xiao was helped to the hotel to rest by three girls, while President Hao also walked out with a foreign girl in his arms.

The remaining few tried to take Lu Feng away, but Lu Feng couldn't afford to offend them, so he gave each of them fifty yuan and sent them on their way.

After settling the bill at the front desk, President Hao said goodbye to Lu Feng. Before leaving, he didn't forget about the five million yuan and gave the instructions again. At 11 p.m., Lu Feng got into his car and headed back.

Inside the hotel, Feng Zhiyao sat in a chair with his phone on speakerphone, and Mr. Feng's voice came from the other end.

"What your elder brother means is that with this little bit of family property, whoever has the ability can take it, and those who don't shouldn't complain. Even if it's given to them, they won't be able to keep it in the end."

“Your second brother is ambitious and has done very well in Singapore. According to him, no matter who owns Sun Hung Kai Properties in the future, he will take it over.”

“What my eldest and second brothers said is right. In the end, it still comes down to ability. Take Lu Feng, for example. His parents didn’t give him anything.” Feng Zhiyao sighed and said, “When we used to live together, my aunt often said that you favored me.”

“In the past six months, I’ve realized that investing in Lu Feng was a worthwhile investment. Even if we lose money, it’s still worthwhile. How many more years can I hold on? You’re the youngest, and I’m afraid you won’t be able to compete with your older brothers.” Mr. Feng’s voice was full of worry.

“Dad, when I first graduated, I always felt like I understood everything in the world, as if I was omnipotent. But following Lu Feng, he showed me a more real side of humanity. I never dared to dream of a big boss like him lying under the mayor’s car wheels. It’s the kind of glory and prestige that ordinary people can only look up to, but he doesn’t seem to care about any of that,” Feng Zhiyao exclaimed.

"He is a very pure person," Mr. Feng commented.

"That's utterly shameless!" Feng Zhiyao couldn't help but laugh and said, "Dad, if you replaced me with Lu Feng, would you still be worried?"

Mr. Feng on the other end of the phone laughed. Then he should be worried about his eldest and second sons.

“Wealthy families have their own difficulties. You should stay by his side, observe, and learn from him!” Mr. Feng was silent for a moment before saying, “As far as I know, someone has been making moves against Chen’s Capital recently, and the stock price is very unstable. Didn’t you hear what Lu Feng said?”

"I've never heard of that."

"It's time to rest. You should rest early too. When you're not busy, remember to come back and visit me," Mr. Feng instructed.

"Okay, Dad!"

After hanging up the phone, Feng Zhiyao lay half-reclined on the sofa. Recalling the days since he met Lu Feng, he felt as if he had gone from being someone who was floating in mid-air to becoming more down-to-earth and exceptionally real!
