Last night, he got into a fight with that foreign girl. Today, she came in and said thank you twice in broken Chinese, which made Mr. Hao very happy.
Although they couldn't communicate verbally, they exchanged glances. Besides taking care of Ms. Xiao, Mr. Hao spent his time drinking with her, exchanging flirtatious glances. It was clear he genuinely liked her!
The atmosphere was filled with toasts and lively games, with all sorts of exciting activities. Even a man of great integrity like Liu Xiahui wouldn't be able to resist the influence of alcohol for long.
After they had drunk enough, President Xiao stood up and sang a song. Lu Feng clapped and cheered, then said to President Hao next to him, "I'm going to the restroom. Take good care of President Xiao."
"Go ahead!" Boss Hao didn't even glance at Lu Feng, and instead put his arm around the foreign woman next to him, his eyes practically bulging out of their sockets.
After leaving the private room, Lu Feng paused for a few seconds as he passed Tianyue Cave, then walked towards the restroom, used the toilet, and stood in front of the sink looking at himself in the mirror.
He turned on the tap, splashed cold water on his face, tore open his collar, and tossed his hair with his hand. At this moment, Lu Feng was slightly drunk, with water droplets on his face, his eyes slightly narrowed, and a bit dazed.
Lu Feng is definitely not the super handsome type, but he has a unique charm. If Zhang Fengxia were here, she would definitely find him irresistible.
Feeling that it was about time, Lu Feng walked back, reached the door of the Tianyue Cave private room, pushed the door open, staggered inside, and shouted, "Let's get hyped!!"
The scene was dimly lit, with colorful lights swaying on the roof. Seven or eight women twisted their bodies and screamed as Lu Feng rushed in, fueled by alcohol.
After a while of twisting and turning, and having vented their anger, the group realized that a stranger had barged in. They turned on the lights and all looked at Lu Feng.
Lu Feng stood there unsteadily. As the lights came on, he glanced around the scene, looked at Sister Yue with a dazed expression, and went up to hug her tightly.
"Why has the person changed so soon? Another batch?"
"Get the hell out of my way!" Sister Yue shoved Lu Feng forcefully, demanding, "Who are you? What are you doing in our private room?"
Lu Feng was pushed onto the sofa. As if waking from a dream, he hurriedly stood up, put his hands together, and apologized, "Sorry, I drank a bit too much and went to the wrong private room."
"Which private room are you in?" a woman in her thirties asked.
"I...I should have come from this side, but I turned around," Lu Feng said with a smile.
"You came here to have fun? You were dancing pretty provocatively just now, weren't you?"
Lu Feng scratched his head, somewhat embarrassed, and said, "I can't dance, I'm just jumping around aimlessly. I'll toast all the ladies."
"A beautiful woman? You've got a sweet tongue!"
Lu Feng picked up a cup from the table, poured himself a drink, and downed it in one gulp. Sister Yue looked him up and down and asked, "You're not a local, are you?"
"I run a company in the south and came here to collect debts. I'm not a big drinker, so I got a bit too much to drink." Lu Feng said to her sincerely, "I just saw you come in when I arrived. You're so beautiful, absolutely stunning."
A group of women laughed, and one of them, dressed in a flamboyant manner, said, "Sister Yue, we're here for you, aren't we?"
"No, I really went to the wrong place."
"Who owes you a debt?" Sister Yue asked.
“I’m stuck with the accounts from Beigang Steel. I can’t get them back no matter what I do. I’ve tried to find someone to take over, but no one dares to. I even tried to take a batch of steel with me because I didn’t have the money, but nobody wants it. It’s all stuck in my hands. Now I’m just thinking that even if I lose a few million, as long as I can get it back, that’s fine,” Lu Feng said with a bitter expression.
What kind of steel does Beigang produce?
Losing millions?
"It's fate that we're here, have a seat!" Sister Yue called to the other sisters. She was a little tired from all the jumping around, so she didn't invite anyone else tonight. A group of women isn't really that interesting.
Lu Feng sat down, and one of the women next to him placed a bottle of foreign liquor in front of him. Sister Yue lit a cigarette, took a bite of the fruit platter, and asked, "How much money do you owe me?"
“Twenty-one million!” Lu Feng replied.
"So much money? I didn't realize you were so rich at such a young age. Is it your own company?" Sister Yue stared at Lu Feng in disbelief.
"My company is located in the south and makes televisions."
"You're saying you'd be willing to take on a loss of several million?" Sister Yue asked, taking a drag of her cigarette.
"I have no connections or networks here. This period has been exhausting for me. There are too many leaders, and I have to entertain this one and that one. It's like spending money into a bottomless pit." Lu Feng started his rant, complaining about his grievances.
He embellished the story, as if he had grabbed a stranger and was pouring out his grievances, all the while downing half a bottle of foreign liquor.
Sister Yue nodded silently as she smoked, then asked, "So, how much are you planning to pay?"
“I don’t want to think about that anymore. When I first came here, I was thinking of getting everything back, but now I don’t dare to think about it anymore. If this drags on, when will it end? As long as I can cash out, I’ll accept 18 million. There are still holes in the company that need to be plugged. I just wanted to tell you this. I don’t dare to tell the senior management or my family. I’m afraid the company will fall apart.” Lu Feng’s words were incredibly pitiful.
There's a profit of three million here!
"It's fate that we met. I have to go back now. You guys have fun!" Lu Feng stood up, made an apologetic gesture to everyone, and prepared to leave.
When I reached the door, I reached out to open it, glancing back slightly. I hesitated for a moment before opening the door and preparing to leave, but the other person hadn't moved yet.
He took a step forward.
