Zhou Ya felt that President Jiang and his wife seemed to be acting differently. President Lu would avoid President Jiang wherever he went, especially at night when President Jiang had to drag him upstairs to sleep.
Four days passed in a flash, and Lu Feng finally made it through. Now he just hopes to get pregnant soon. Once they have a child, their lives will return to normal.
Lu Feng would certainly like a normal life, but the problem now is that she's torturing him. At this rate, no one can withstand it; she's practically a juicer.
I don't want anything else, I just want to make juice.
The ship was scheduled to depart at 9:00 AM. Lu Feng had already packed his things by 7:00 AM and was sitting in the living room. Jiang Xiaoyan woke up and found him gone. She came out in her pajamas, her hair disheveled, and stood on the second floor, scratching her long hair. She looked at Lu Feng sitting there, not knowing whether to laugh or cry.
"Are you serious? Come up here and take a nap." Jiang Xiaoyan said to Lu Feng.
Lu Feng watched her swaying gracefully, her face full of charm, with a touch of rosy blush, without a trace of makeup yet exuding a thousand kinds of allure.
"I'll watch the news for a bit and then I'll set off. It's still quite a distance to the pier."
"I'll wash up and then take you. I'll have Zhou Ya take Duo Duo." Jiang Xiaoyan went downstairs, glanced at the kitchen where Aunt Liu was cooking, walked over to Lu Feng, sat down next to him, and rested her head on his shoulder, saying, "How long are you going to be gone?"
"If you continue like this, treating me like a human being, I won't come back."
"Get lost." Jiang Xiaoyan looked at him and laughed, quickly coaxing, "He's just desperate for a child. Can you really come back within a month?"
"I don't know, it depends on how things go?"
"I'll call you if there's any good news," Jiang Xiaoyan said, rubbing against Lu Feng.
At this moment, Lu Feng was absolutely calm and composed, without any ripples in his mind.
After breakfast, Jiang Xiaoyan quickly washed up and drove to drop Lu Feng off. When they arrived at the dock, she kissed him. Lu Feng got out of the car with his backpack, stood in front of the car, and smiled at Jiang Xiaoyan.
"What are you laughing at? You can't bear to part with me? You were crying and screaming all night, you couldn't take it anymore, and now you can't bear to part with me?" Jiang Xiaoyan asked, peeking out.
"I'm just laughing at you, you idiot. You've been putting me through the wringer. I'm leaving now!" Lu Feng waved his hand and said, "You don't have to go to the factory, but you should still make a phone call to check on things and have the manager come to your house to report the situation."
"Okay!"
Lu Feng turned around and walked towards the dock. Jiang Xiaoyan waited until he disappeared into the crowd and could no longer be found before starting the car, a look of loneliness on her face.
Ultimately, they were separated more often than together.
After checking the tickets, we began boarding. Actually, the requirements for going to Hong Kong are quite lenient now. As long as you say you have relatives there or work there, they will let you through.
However, Lu Feng still carried his passport because he needed to stay in a hotel, make various travel arrangements, and because the requirements had become somewhat stricter in recent years. If you said you were visiting relatives, they would ask you for proof, the location of your relatives, their job, etc.
About half an hour later, the ship docked. Su Yourong was already waiting at the exit, wearing a short skirt, a deep V-neck wide-shouldered long-sleeved top, and a pair of aviator sunglasses. She was leaning against the car smoking, and people coming and going all looked in her direction.
Anyone bold enough to whistle or strike up a conversation would invariably be scolded.
Lu Feng followed the crowd out, stood at the exit and glanced around, when suddenly a snow-white hand reached out and patted his shoulder from behind.
Lu Feng turned around and almost didn't recognize her. His gaze swept over her two long, white legs, and he said, "Why are you dressed like this?"
"I came to see you, didn't I?" Su Yourong took off her sunglasses, winked at Lu Feng, and asked, "Do you like it?"
Lu Feng panicked and subconsciously said, "Please spare this old monk?"
"Huh?" Su Yourong didn't know what he was talking about.
"It's alright, let's find a place first and tell each other about the recent situation. I'll go see Mr. Feng this afternoon." Lu Feng said seriously, "You should change your clothes, it's not appropriate to be dressed like this."
"I don't need you to tell me!" Su Yourong put on her sunglasses and strode towards the car.
Lu Feng opened the back door and got in the car. Su Yourong looked at Lu Feng in the rearview mirror and felt even more uncomfortable. She launched the car and sped away.
Inside the hotel lounge, Su Yourong was still sitting on the sofa, legs crossed, smoking a cigarette, and picking up a bag, without having changed her clothes.
"Could you change your clothes?" Lu Feng asked again.
"Are you ever going to stop? How many times have I told you? What are you pretending for? What haven't you seen?" Su Yourong opened her bag, took out two folders, and placed them on the table, saying, "These are all the texts."
