Chapter 680 I Don't Accept

"Look at you, with such huge profits, where wouldn't you make money selling them? Let me tell you, I've already thought it through. This month, I'll find an overseas country, register a company, and have the goods picked up directly from the port. Once they're in that country, the ship won't even need to unload them. Then, they'll be returned under that company's name. That way, they'll become imported goods. If there are no overseas channels, I have plenty of domestic channels. If they really can't be sold, I'll just say the quality inspection there failed and return the goods to them. I'll make a fortune out of nothing!"

"That was a brilliant move!"

"The main reason is the high profit margin and the room for maneuver, understand?"

Lu Feng stood at the door and listened for a moment, then snorted and went inside. He thought to himself, "Just watch, who knows how many of these appliances will be brought back next year and enter the market as imported goods. Who knows what kind of chaos will ensue then?"

The seating arrangements at the dinner table were all set. Lu Feng sat with Li Guangfa, General Manager Liu, General Manager Zheng, General Manager Huang, General Manager Chen, and several other executives from the trading agency.

"President Lu is here, please have a seat!" Huang Hongsheng greeted him.

Lu Feng sat down and looked at everyone, saying, "We came here today to discuss business, but it's all turned into nonsense. Now everyone knows that export trade is the future trend. I'd like to ask, have the other companies contacted the relevant companies yet?"

Lu Feng's questioning of the other trading agencies in front of Li Guangfa put him in an awkward position, and the CEOs of those companies were also somewhat embarrassed.

“Mr. Lu, the 91% profit split isn’t what we want; it’s what the intermediary companies want. You can’t say they don’t make money, can you? You probably don’t understand. Going out of the mainland, going through each company is like being skinned alive. Without these companies’ guarantees, recommendations, operations, and protection, it’s very difficult to conduct a safe transaction.” One of the executives said with difficulty.

"Now that you mention it, it seems like being a pirate is the fastest way to make money!" Lu Feng picked up his chopsticks, took a bite of food, and said, "Since so many companies are sharing the profits, can you give me an account of what money went into whose company and what role it played? I need to know that, right?"

“This is a trade secret!” Li Guangfa said in a deep voice.

"Good, well said!" Lu Feng looked at Li Guangfa and said, "In other words, after the goods are delivered to you, I have no right to ask what happens in between, and then I take 10%, and whatever you say goes. If this isn't a monopoly, what is it?"

"You have only two options: accept or not!" Li Guangfa slammed his fist on the table and shouted, "If you don't accept, then leave! What's the point of all this nonsense?"

The commotion at the table drew the attention of the other people, who turned to look and wondered if a fight might break out.

"Don't argue, let's talk things out slowly." President Liu spoke up, putting down his chopsticks and looking at the two of them, saying, "Actually, trade exports in clothing, bags, and shoes have been going on for many years. As far as I know, it's 70/30, with the agency taking 30%. Why does it become so extreme when it comes to home appliances?"

“Because this is a completely new field, the things you mentioned don’t have such high requirements in customs quality inspection, and the international market demand is very large, making them easy to sell,” Li Guangfa replied.

"I think we're going in the wrong direction?" President Liu pondered for a moment and said, "Shouldn't we be trying to expand exports and increase trade volume? If you make money, they can make money too, right?"

Li Guangfa froze on the spot and said, "The product is no good, and the demand is only so big. I'll say it again: if you can do it, do it; if you can't, get out!"

President Liu is a mild-mannered person. Even when Lu Feng poached his employees, they never fought. He looked at Li Guangfa and said, "You've set a very bad precedent. I hope it won't spread to other electronics fields."

Lu Feng looked at the others and continued Liu's words: "I know there are definitely smart people here, and even more exceptionally smart ones. Everyone knows what the situation will be like next year. The reason we're grabbing this small piece of overseas market today is so that we can have a better breather next year. I don't care who sold whom for a good price behind the scenes. I only accept a 50/50 split!"

"If you don't accept it, shut up. Why say so much?" Li Guangfa was getting impatient. Lu Feng kept stirring up trouble at the dinner table, especially since he had already reached a cooperation agreement with President Huang in private, and the other parties had also reached an agreement. If Lu Feng ruined it, he would suffer a great loss.

"What's it to you what I say?" Lu Feng turned to look at Li Guangfa and said in an unfriendly tone.

"You're sitting next to me, you're disturbing my ears!" Li Guangfa retorted angrily.

"Then go sit somewhere else. Also, settle my payment as soon as possible," Lu Feng said, staring at him.

Everyone present could see that the two were irreconcilable enemies. Li Guangfa, feeling somewhat embarrassed, stood up, pushed Lu Feng, and whispered, "What's wrong?"

"Go to hell!" Lu Feng raised his hand and slapped him across the face!

There was a gasp of surprise at the scene, and Vice Mayor Liu's eyes widened.
