Chapter 994 The First Battle

Lu Feng watched the three of them without saying a word, then stood up and walked outside. He didn't have much time to waste chatting with these people. The main reason he invited Sean was because he wasn't familiar with some local conditions and needed him to point them out to avoid being scammed.

As for having him teach Lu Feng how to conduct business activities here, that's completely unnecessary.

High-nosed and blond-haired were furious when they saw Lu Feng leave with his headless men. For the past two years, no matter which company they worked for as consultants with Sean, the bosses treated them with utmost respect. But with Lu Feng, they felt no respect whatsoever.

"I quit! With this kind of attitude, who can tolerate it?" The blond-haired man slammed the folder on the table onto the ground and shouted, "It's just a company from the East. They don't even know Sean's name. Let me tell you, countless people outside would beg for this job. If it weren't for Kevin's connection with Sean, who would want to come here?"

Amidst the shouts of the blond-haired man, Lu Feng led his men out the door and never returned.

Sean took out a cigar, and the man with the high nose next to him hurriedly pulled out a lighter and whispered, "Let's go, he has no respect for people at all."

Sean took a puff of his cigar and said in a low voice, "Leave? If I just walk away, how am I supposed to explain it to Kevin? Besides, the less he wants us to interfere, the better. We can make money just by drinking coffee and taking a nap every day. Isn't that better than what we're doing now? This boss is a young man. Does he even know what young people are like?"

"What characteristics?" asked the blond-haired man from the side.

"Impulsive, arrogant, and lacking a complete understanding of the world, he acts entirely based on his imagination. Don't worry, the market will teach him a lesson. When he's run into walls everywhere and is covered in bruises, he'll come to me in a gentle tone to ask for advice," Sean said confidently, exhaling smoke.

Upon hearing this, Huang Mao smiled and said, "When he comes begging to us, bowing and offering a toast will be the least of our worries; he'll probably have to kneel down to beg for a drink!"

Sean glanced at the blond-haired guy, puffed on his cigar, and said, "He's just a young man after all. What's the point of arguing about pride? Of course, we should make him pay more."

Lu Feng went downstairs and saw several cleaning ladies still muttering "fuck" under their breath. He said to the person in charge, "Find a few more people. Everything needs to be cleaned up by tomorrow morning, and we need to move in and start working. You understand? Don't skimp on this little bit of money."

"Okay, I'll arrange it right away. Take care, Mr. Lu."

Lu Feng fell asleep in the car on his way back. He estimated it would take him two days to adjust to the time difference. When they arrived at the door, Li Xiaosi gently patted Lu Feng's shoulder and said, "Mr. Lu, we're here. Go upstairs and get some sleep."

Lu Feng woke up with a start, yawned, and got out of the car. Li Xiaosi quickly got out of the car to help him.

It was already past four in the afternoon when Lu Feng got back to his room. He tried to hold on, but he couldn't take it anymore and went straight to sleep without even washing up.

London at night is like a palace of scenery. Even Shenzhen, the most developed city in China, pales in comparison. Its orderly and wide roads and the lights on various buildings are breathtaking.

Many people wake up and stand on a high-rise building looking at the city, and are instantly captivated by it. The vast majority of them secretly vow to stay here, to stay in a developed country.

Li Xiaosi stared blankly at the scene before her. She came from a small town where, not to mention the townships, even the county and city were pitch black at night. What were streetlights? She didn't know.

For most Chinese people in 1995, the brightest thing at night was the moon overhead, and many places still lived a life of working at sunrise and resting at sunset.

Li Xiaosi was determined to stay here; she refused to allow herself to face an endless night of darkness.

The arrival of Jiafeng Electronics has attracted the attention of many companies, but only Beko has responded by launching some indescribable movies on its own TV channel during midnight screenings.

Neither Hailer nor Siemens had any worries about Jiafeng's arrival. Even companies like Sony and Panasonic would have to give way here, let alone a small Eastern company.

However, to Siemens' surprise, Goldman Sachs contacted Siemens, hoping to make a push against Jiafeng Electronics in the French market.

Inside the CEO's office, Hermann looked at the folder handed to him with a puzzled expression. He looked up at his chief secretary and asked, "Are you sure it's Goldman Sachs executives calling to order us to take down Jiafeng Electronics? A company that currently has no business in the European market?"

"That's exactly what the guy on the other end of the phone, Eisen, said," the secretary replied. "Moreover, several Japanese companies can make some concessions and have a friendly exchange in the field of communications, especially regarding 2G signal networks."

"This isn't exactly a benefit. Our technology isn't much weaker than theirs. What's the background of this Jiafeng Electronics company?" Herman really couldn't understand.

This is as absurd as one boxing champion telling another to beat up a sickly guy. Why wait? A gust of wind might blow by, and he might just catch a bad cold and die.

Hermann also wanted to do his part and improve his relationship with Wall Street, since it wasn't a big deal. The key problem was that he couldn't get started with Jiafeng Electronics. Not to mention that Jiafeng hadn't even started any business yet, even if it did, Siemens and Jiafeng weren't related. He couldn't possibly lower Siemens' brand and start a price war just to take down Jiafeng, could he?

“Sometimes when a company is too weak, it can be quite frustrating, right?” Hermann looked up at his secretary.
