Although Feng Qifan sensed that his father spoke to him differently today than usual, he was still too young to fully understand the change.

Feng Haidong smiled and placed the manuscript on the desk, then stood up and said, "Alright, put your schoolbag down and help Dad prepare the crayfish first. You can do your homework while Dad cooks, okay?"
Upon hearing that they could have crayfish for dinner, Feng Qifan cheered, "Great! We'll have crayfish to eat!"
The father and son came out of the house together and started cleaning crayfish in their yard.
