He smiled and reached out to pat his son's head: "Okay, you're a big kid in third grade now. Dad believes you can make your own decisions about some things, but Dad wants to tell you that you're a boy, and boys have to be responsible for every decision they make."
So if you're sure you want to continue learning the violin, then you must persevere and learn it well. Also, you just said you'd try your best to learn the knowledge in the textbook, so you must keep your word.

Feng Qifan was immediately taken aback: "You really want to give scores?"
Feng Haidong said, "Of course, don't be afraid, be bold and give your dad a score."
Feng Qifan thought about it carefully and even brought out the essay grading criteria taught by his teacher. In the end, he gave his father a score of 85.
Feng Haidong smiled and said, "Okay, my son gave it 85 points, so I'm more confident about submitting my work."
Upon hearing this, Feng Qifan quickly said, "Dad, don't blame me if your submission is rejected."
Feng Haidong said, "Look, you need to be more confident and believe that your rating is correct."
Feng Qifan seemed to understand but not quite, but he still nodded and said, "Yes, Dad, keep it up. I believe your submission will be fine."
Feng Haidong smiled and placed the manuscript on the desk, then stood up and said, "Alright, put your schoolbag down and help Dad prepare the crayfish first. You can do your homework while Dad cooks, okay?"
Upon hearing that they could have crayfish for dinner, Feng Qifan cheered, "Great! We'll have crayfish to eat!"
The father and son came out of the house together and started cleaning crayfish in their yard.
