Xia Xuan closed her eyes, her shoulders shaking, and she cried silently.
But in just a moment, Xia Yue felt that the clothes in front of her were wet. She was warm at first, and then turned cold in an instant.
Xia Xuan refused to say anything, and Xia Yue didn't have the heart to keep asking her, so the two sisters hugged each other.
With a creak, the door opened and Youyou came out on tiptoe in her long nightgown. She was waiting for her mother to tell her a story, and she was almost falling asleep waiting, but she still didn't come over: "Mom... uh, Auntie?"

After an unknown amount of time, the doorbell rang. The person buried in Xia Yue's arms was startled and moved. Xia Yue patted her shoulder and comforted her softly: "It's okay, I'll go check it out."
Xia Xuan lowered her head, her eyelashes still wet, and her nails pinched the palms of her hands.
Xia Yue leaned on the door and looked through the peephole. The person outside was Chen Songbai. His expression was not much better than Xia Xuan's. He was also distraught. His hair was wet, and it was unclear whether it was water or sweat.
Xia Yue didn't understand what was going on. She guessed the two had had an argument and didn't dare to open the door to let Chen Songbai in. She turned sideways and said to Xia Xuan, who was sitting on the sofa, "Chen Songbai is here. Do you want to see him?"
She clearly saw her little sister's shoulders tremble, then she raised her head, her eyes hurt, and shook her head without hesitation.
"Don't open the door, I don't want to see him." She never wanted to see him again in her life.
When she saw his face, she would think of the disgusting things he had done.
Xia Yue respected her and did not open the door for Chen Songbai.
After a few seconds, the doorbell rang again, but Xia Yue ignored it.
Su Jinru was woken several times in her room. She went to bed early, and if she had nothing to do, she would be in bed by 7 or 8 pm. The air conditioner was too cold, so she put on a thin knitted cardigan over her pajamas and opened the door to leave the room.
"Who's that? Keep ringing the doorbell." Su Jinru yawned and glanced casually. She saw Xia Xuan in the living room and her eyes widened in surprise. "Xuanxuan, didn't you go home? Why are you here?"
"It's Chen Songbai outside." Xia Yue said in embarrassment, "They had a fight, and Xuanxuan doesn't want to see him."
Su Jinru didn't know what happened between the young couple: "Now that everyone is here, it's better to talk it out in person."
Xia Xuan was shocked, tears welling up in her eyes, but her expression was resolute: "No one is allowed to open the door for him. I don't want to see him."
