Xia Xi was silent. For a moment, she really wondered if she should not come back.
"Why, I hit the nail on the head, and you're speechless?" Ling Yan's eyes were reddened. She raised her hand and slapped her. "Can you please just leave? Go far away, just like we did back then! I beg you, what do you want? Money? Or something else? Just tell me, and I can satisfy you... Can you please stop pestering him?"

He picked up Xia Xi and ran out, turning his head to glance at Ling Yan.
That one look made one feel cold all over.

Ling Yan stood there, her face pale with fear. She stared blankly at her hand hanging in the air, her lips moving as she murmured, "It wasn't me, I didn't mean to..."
When Xia Xi fell down, she was still thinking that Xia Xi was going to play the role of the vicious female supporting role who framed her. She didn't push her at all, so how could she fall down the stairs?
