Chapter 7 Working as a Lawn Mower



When Lu Chen arrived, he saw this scene: a little girl sitting by the stream with her pouting lips, her hands on the ground, and her white jade-like little feet moving in the water.

Noticing his gaze, she turned to look.

Upon seeing him, she flashed a bright smile. Lu Chen was scalded by that smile, which struck him to the core. He instinctively looked away, feeling a little guilty for stealing a glance at her feet.

Ye Zhiyu never expected to see Lu Chen here. She shook off the water, put on her shoes, and walked towards him.

As soon as she entered the grass, a cool, damp sensation swept over Ye Zhiyu's exposed ankles.

She froze. What was that?

Ye Zhiyu's hair stood on end. She slowly looked down and saw a snake coiled up just a step away from her. What she had felt earlier was the snake's tail.

Nobody would believe it, but this fearless little princess is afraid of snakes.

The next second, a scream erupted, and she jumped up like a cat with its fur standing on end.

"ah!!!!!!!!"

Hearing the scream, Lu Chen quickly turned around and ran towards Ye Zhiyu.

Just as he stood still, a soft and fragrant mass bumped into the man's arms, hugging him tightly with both hands and feet. His body froze for a moment, like a piece of wood driven into the ground, a burning heat rising from his spine as if to incinerate him completely.

My ears were bright red, and my brain was so congested with blood that it almost crashed.

He could still hear the girl's sobbing voice: "Help! Snake! There's a snake! Lu Chen, there's a snake!"

Lu Chen grabbed Ye Zhiyu's arm, trying to push her away, but Ye Zhiyu held him tightly, pressing close to him, her sweet fragrance filling his nose.

"No, no, there's a snake, waaaaah..."
