Everything is ready, except for the east wind.
Prior to this, Paul had completed all the selected projects in order, following the plan.
At night, the Daydream Amusement Park is no longer a paradise full of sunshine and joy. The illusion dissipates with the sunlight, revealing the real, terrifying world full of ghosts and eeriness behind it.
The once bustling amusement park in the illusion is now deserted, all the facilities appear dilapidated, and the peeling paint on the supports has even sprouted purplish-red rust. However, even more dangerous than the buildings are the eerie creatures and killer clowns that appear from time to time.
Even while wearing a staff uniform, Paul cautiously avoided other figures, because the amusement park's ghosts would ignore those dressed as staff, but the killer clown wouldn't.
Paul finds it difficult to say what the killer clown actually is.
Based on the information he had, Paul guessed that he was probably a monster because he possessed strength that was unmatched by ordinary people. He would wander randomly to every corner of the amusement park. Because he was not allowed to enter the amusement facilities, he would be jealous of every visitor who could go in and would also hate every person wearing a staff uniform.
The staff in blue uniforms are not allowed to leave the facilities they are responsible for at night, the staff in red uniforms are the only ones who can stand up to them, and Paul has never seen the staff in black and white uniforms.
Paul guessed that they might be in some special place, but he no longer had time to prove it.
After completing each task, he would hide and wait for the next one. Time passed by, and he completed task after task, slowly collecting six stamps.
Now that he had collected all six seals, Paul was excited but dared not show it.
He knew that his supervisor was paying more and more attention to him, and on several occasions when his supervisor took the initiative to approach him, Paul could feel that his supervisor's gaze seemed to penetrate his soul.
But Paul dared not act rashly; he was waiting for the last opportunity.
Judging by the timeline, the amusement park is about to become a hit.
Paul strode to the door, but didn't take out his sign-in card; he simply chatted with the security guard at the door.
"Brother, how many years have you been working here?"
"Ten years have passed, what happened?"
"I've collected all six stamps. I'm afraid I won't be coming back after this trip. To be honest, this place is so much fun, I'm really going to miss it."
Paul casually reminisced about the past, but in reality, he was waiting for his own agenda to be triggered.
"You can stay here if you don't want to leave." The security guard smiled mysteriously and held out his hand: "Give me your sign-in card, and you can leave."
It's always like this.
Paul once witnessed a tourist hand his card to a security guard, who then looked at it and said, "This is your verification card. Congratulations, you have passed the staff's assessment and can now become a member of Daydream Amusement Park."
Then, the distraught tourist tried to force his way out and was torn in two by security guards.
Add one more ghost to the night.
Paul smiled but didn't take out his card. He was waiting for the right moment, the moment when the carousel would burst into flames.
Suddenly, a scream came from behind.
"Fire! Fire!"
"Run! Run!"
Although most of the visitors during the daytime session are part of the illusion, their reactions are still quite genuine.
The security guard's face darkened: "Damn it!"
Paul took the opportunity to pull out his own sign-in card and stuff it into his hand: "This is my sign-in card."
This is his chance!
Paul seized the carefully prepared opportunity, quickly brushed past the security guards, and escaped the Daydream Amusement Park in an instant, unafraid of the raging flames behind him.
And a deafening alarm sounded.
Paul smiled victoriously; he had finally escaped Daydream Amusement Park and could now explore the next area. Although the government hadn't given him any hints, Paul had already formed a plan during his time at the amusement park.
...
On the other side, Yin Zhu had already arrived next to the haunted house.
The reason it wasn't the entrance was because Yin Zhu discovered that this haunted house didn't actually have a main entrance.
After spending some time circling the haunted house twice, Yin Zhu was certain that her eyes were not wrong; this haunted house, which occupied a considerable area, indeed had no entrance or exit.
The only entrance and exit for this amusement ride called "Horror House" is the place where the roller coaster connects in the photo. Unexpectedly, the scene that looks like an AI drawing is actually realistic, which was a bit beyond Yin Zhu's expectations.
"See, I told you haunted houses are dangerous."
Jing Gui watched the spectacle from the sidelines, his tone revealing a smugness that said, "Those who don't heed the advice of their elders will suffer the consequences."
"Okay, let's go to the haunted house then." Yin Zhu clenched her right fist and slapped it against her left palm. "After the roller coaster, we can go straight to the haunted house, do two rides in one go, saving 100% of the time! Awesome!"
"You want to die!"
Mirror, how hateful!
It only regretted that it didn't have a physical body, so it could put its hands on Yin Zhu's neck and strangle her to death to keep it company. Maybe she could even become a part of it. It would be better than being helpless against her now and being driven half to death by her.
Anyone with eyes could see that something was wrong with this place, but Yin Zhu was unusually excited.
"I've never been to a haunted house before. I've heard that haunted houses are very exciting, but I never thought I'd get to experience it for myself after coming to Sin City," Yin Zhu muttered to herself as she walked along the tracks toward the roller coaster queue.
“That place doesn’t even have an exit; they clearly don’t want anyone to come out alive!” Jing Gui analyzed logically for Yin Zhu. “The haunted house outside is just an adventure house at best; they value money over life. You can’t generalize like that!”
The "outside" that Yin Zhu refers to is Blue Star, while the "outside" that Jing Gui refers to is Dawn Star.
However, there was no barrier between the two people and the ghost.
"You're right, but I just want to ride a roller coaster and go to the haunted house."
Once Yin Zhu makes up her mind, she's as stubborn as ten oxen trying to pull her back. That's the kind of mindset she had when she went to the capital to "drift in Beijing," only turning back after hitting many walls.
However, Yin Zhu is never someone who doesn't make preparations.
The reason she went on those dangerous adventures back then was because her family was there to support her; and the reason she's risking her life on roller coasters now is because she has…
Yin Zhu, who had been standing at the roller coaster entrance for about two hours, finally caught the fish she wanted to catch.
"Are you here to ride the roller coaster too?" Yin Zhu waved to the two people walking towards her with a smile, completely unaware that she was in a dangerous place: "Finally, I've met some people I know. I really don't dare to ride alone, but it's much safer to ride with someone I know."
At this point, the Mirror Demon had lost all temper.
However, it understood Yin Zhu's thoughts and felt a little relieved, at least the probability of Yin Zhu surviving and bringing it home had increased.
When Mu Yunsheng saw Yin Zhu, he was still a little surprised: "You're here to ride the roller coaster too?"
In contrast, Wei Chuxing was not surprised at all, and simply smiled.
