To Cheng Zhu's surprise, Alice actually started bargaining with the robot: "We are friends, and we will get along better if we are in the same dormitory and it will be less likely to quarrel. I hope that Christine and I can be assigned to the same dormitory."
“Miss Sweeney, I hope you are aware that these changes do not conform to the system's arrangements.”
The robot coldly rejected Alice.
However, Alice did not give up, but instead offered a higher condition: "Can I change rooms for 100,000 universal points?"
“Miss Sweeney, this isn’t about money.”
The robot remained unmoved.
Cheng Zhu tugged at her sleeve, trying to stop her from wasting time talking to the robot. It was just a stupid machine that worked according to data; it wouldn't embezzle or accept bribes.

"Miss Sweeney, I'll contact the other students in room 402 for you. Please communicate with them directly."
The robot abruptly turned and left, leaving Cheng Zhu dumbfounded: "This robot? Bought? Robots can be bribed? How could it do this!"
“It’s not that it was bribed,” Alice shook her head. “It’s that the amount was too large, which led to it being directly taken over by human intervention.
