The zoo gates are closed.
"It looks like we can't get into the zoo."
Popov whispered, looking somewhat disappointed.
John bit his lower lip lightly, frowning slightly: "Are you really going to give up?"
Chi Yaoyang took a deep breath and thought calmly.
"There must be some secret in this amusement park, and we must find the answer."
"What are your plans?"
Popov sounded very expectant.
Chi Yaoyang pondered for a moment, then pinched his chin and answered, "We need to find an opportunity to enter the zoo. Now it seems that only the staff are active. We have to find a way to sneak in."
Popov nodded: "So what should we do now?"
Chi Yaoyang looked up at the sky, where the sun was gradually getting dim.
"Observe first."
Chi Yaoyang carefully observed everything in the zoo, and suddenly he noticed that behind the fence not far from them, there was a golden dog staring at him.
This dog is completely different from ordinary animals, and its eyes reveal a peculiar wisdom.
He had a strange feeling in his heart, as if the dog could communicate with him.
The golden dog continued to stare at Chi Yaoyang through the fence. Its sharp eyes seemed to be able to see into people's hearts.
Chi Yaoyang felt himself attracted by these eyes, as if an invisible force was pulling him.
Popov and John also noticed the presence of the golden dog. They looked at Chi Yaoyang and the dog's eyes, and their hearts were filled with curiosity.
Although the golden dog was separated by a fence, it stared at Chi Yaoyang so closely as if he were a human, which made the three people feel puzzled.
"Do you feel it too? This dog seems to be able to communicate with us..."
Chi Yaoyang's voice trembled a little. This special feeling made him uneasy.
Popov and John looked at each other and nodded.
Chi Yaoyang decided to give it a try. He walked to the fence and touched it gently with his hand.
The golden dog immediately twitched its tail and showed an obvious expression of joy.
As he got closer, the golden dog suddenly stopped and gave him a warning look.
Chi Yaoyang immediately became alert and looked around.
There was nothing, but he felt that the golden dog had no ill intentions.
So he decided to go back first, because it was already dark and if he didn't go back, he might face unimaginable dangers.
They walked through the entrance to the amusement park and returned to the restaurant.
The restaurant was dimly lit at this time and the atmosphere was low.
Chi Yaoyang looked around and saw several staff members busy cleaning up the leftovers on the table.
He noticed that the plate in front of John was empty, and even most of the delicious dishes that had just been emitting an enticing aroma had been confiscated by the staff.
"What's going on?"
Chi Yaoyang walked up to John and asked about the situation.
John sighed softly and smiled bitterly: "I didn't finish my meal on time before, so this is a punishment measure. They will take away some of the unfinished dishes."
Popov also joined the conversation: "It seems we have to be careful. There are too many rules here."
Chi Yaoyang, Popov and John found a corner and sat down quietly. The three of them began to stare in silence at the table filled with various delicacies.
Chi Yaoyang didn't know why Popov ordered so many dishes. He frowned and said, "Popov, why did you order so many dishes?"
Popov suddenly showed a frank smile, he pushed the portion for John in front of him and said to him: "John, you look very hungry, you can enjoy these delicacies."
John looked at the sumptuous meal in front of him with some surprise and thanked Popov.
There was less and less food on the table, and John gradually felt full.
The three of them left the restaurant.
Chi Yaoyang and Popov returned to the room, and Popov hurriedly opened the door and pushed it open.
A damp smell hit his face, making him feel a little nervous.
He looked around and found a clear trail of water footprints on the ground.
[There is only one pair of slippers in the bathroom. If you find barefoot footprints, please check if there is an extra pair of slippers. If so, please throw the extra pair of slippers out the door immediately.]
Popov immediately threw away the slippers with a serious expression.
Chi Yaoyang followed behind and immediately observed carefully when he saw the situation.
He noticed water footprints extending from the bathroom, across the room and toward the door.
After exchanging glances, the two became alert.
After Popov threw out the slippers, Chi Yaoyang's eyes were fixed on the water stains and slipper marks on the ground.
Just as he was about to follow up on this clue, a piercing scream came from the bathroom.
The two were startled and immediately rushed to the bathroom.
Pushing open the bathroom door, they saw a blurry figure standing there.
This figure had appeared in the cinema before, but now it seemed to flash out from a virtual world.
Chi Yaoyang frowned and stared at everything in front of him in disbelief.
Popov also traced back and stared at the blurry figure.
He couldn't understand why all this happened, and he felt a chill down his spine.
"Who are you?"
Chi Yaoyang tried to control the uneasy emotions surging in his heart.
The blurry figure suddenly turned around, revealing a pair of eyes flashing with strange light, as if mocking the two people who suddenly broke in.
The figure looked at Chi Yaoyang, showed a disdainful smile, turned around and ran out the door.
The figure disappeared into the darkness, leaving only heavy footsteps echoing in the air, as if some demon was approaching.
Just then, a scream was heard from a distance.
Chi Yaoyang and Popov ran towards the room without hesitation.
When they pushed open the door, they were almost stunned by the scene before them.
The room was filled with a thick and cold atmosphere. John stood in the middle of the room, his eyes flickering and his body trembling slightly.
"John! Are you okay?"
Popov rushed forward and supported John.
John turned and looked at the two of them, his eyes full of confusion.
Popov and Chi Yaoyang stared at John, trying to find some clues from his eyes.
John looked extremely uneasy, but he said nothing.
This silence made Chi Yaoyang begin to doubt whether John really didn't know.
Chi Yaoyang saw water marks in front of John's bathroom, and it seemed that someone had also entered his room.
But John didn't throw the slippers away?
He frowned, thinking back to the scene just now, why didn't John throw out his slippers?
Does this mean there is some unique connection between the cinema figure and John?
Popov noticed Chi Yaoyang's thoughts and asked carefully: "Brother, have you found anything?"
Chi Yaoyang took a deep breath and spoke slowly.
"I think we need more time to understand all this. Perhaps... the presence of the cinema is a bigger mystery."
