Chapter 718 What's Wrong with the Dog

After counting and finding an odd number of knives, Chi Yaoyang chose one for self-defense, then he took out his wallet and paid for it.

Just after Chi Yaoyang paid the bill, he felt someone gently pulling his arm.

He turned his head to look at his brother and found that he had not spoken a word, and there was a hint of uneasiness in his eyes.

My brother silently pointed in a direction and opened his mouth to try to speak.

Chi Yaoyang looked in the direction his brother pointed and saw where his home was.

He then realized that his brother had not spoken since he left the house.

A feeling of uneasiness spread in Chi Yaoyang's heart, and he grabbed his brother's hand.

Chi Yaoyang was full of doubts, but he did not stop.

He decided to continue shopping, trying to find out the reason for all this.

However, not long after, he met his parents again.

My parents actually showed up at the night market, wearing youthful clothes and strolling around the streets full of love for each other.

Chi Yaoyang tried to approach them, but every time he got close, they suddenly turned and left, seemingly not recognizing Chi Yaoyang.

He looked at their figures gradually moving away, his heart full of doubts.

At this time, his younger brother pointed in the direction of returning and looked very anxious. Chi Yaoyang suddenly remembered that his parents were about to return home, and he immediately ran.

He quickly ran home but when he reached the door, he heard a noisy noise coming from upstairs.

He looked upstairs and saw a middle-aged couple busy selling meat.

People upstairs came to buy in an endless stream, and the atmosphere was very lively.

Chi Yaoyang was attracted by the scene upstairs. He looked at the bloody meat and smelled a fishy smell in the air.

This gave him a strange feeling.

Chi Yaoyang suddenly noticed that the expressions of the people around him looked a little strange.

They bought the meat with dull eyes and expressionless faces, as if they had no idea what they were doing.

This made Chi Yaoyang feel even more uneasy.

"What's going on?"

Chi Yaoyang whispered to himself.

Then, an older woman approached Chi Yaoyang and stared at him with empty eyes.

"Little brother, how many pounds of meat do you want to buy?"

There was a hint of indifference in her voice.

Chi Yaoyang was panicked and quickly shook his head to refuse.

"No, thanks."

He was eager to leave this strange place.

Suddenly, my brother stopped, pointed at the meat on the table with his little hand, his eyes revealing a eager look.

Chi Yaoyang looked at the bloody piece of meat on the table and felt nauseous.

He didn't respond and just walked past the table, ignoring his brother's request.

His younger brother followed him dejectedly and walked into the house silently.

There was a strange atmosphere in the house, as if an invisible magical power enveloped the entire house.

There were old paintings hanging on the walls, and the characters in the pictures had empty and terrifying eyes.

Chi Yaoyang glanced around briefly, his face still expressionless.

At this moment, Chi Yaoyang was stunned, staring at the black dog that walked out of the bedroom.

The dog's hair was matted and its eyes were unusually red, as if they had been stained with blood.

He was still eating dog food, and his eyes were getting redder.

My brother immediately rushed to the dog and unexpectedly hit and snatched the dog food in front of it.

Chi Yaoyang followed closely behind him, trying to stop his behavior.

But the younger brother seemed to completely ignore Chi Yaoyang's words and continued to attack the red-eyed dog with punches and kicks.

Such a scene made Chi Yaoyang feel a little uneasy. He didn't expect his brother to be so cold-hearted.

Finally, after a few heavy punches, the younger brother succeeds in looting the dog food and angrily stands up to face the black dog that defied his will.

Chi Yaoyang tried to understand his brother's behavior, but he still couldn't accept such cruelty.

The younger brother ignored Chi Yaoyang, but looked at the black dog fiercely and threatened: "If you dare to get close to the dog food again, I will kill you!"

His voice was filled with anger.

Chi Yaoyang felt a chill on his back.

He looked around and found that the atmosphere in the house was even more gloomy and terrifying, as if some evil force was lurking.

Chi Yaoyang looked calmly at the black dog in front of him. He could feel the evil aura emanating from it.

Although he is not good at communicating with people, he can read a lot of information from animals.

At this moment, he clearly felt that the black dog was emitting a threatening aura.

My brother was attacking the black dog in front of the dog food without realizing the danger that was about to happen.

He decisively kicked his brother away and raised his hands to signal the dog to stop attacking.

However, when Chi Yaoyang looked at those strange red eyes, he felt a chill.

There was anger and aggressive intent in those eyes, as if announcing his own death.

Chi Yaoyang immediately felt the dangerous atmosphere, and a strange shudder broke out from deep in his heart.

He began to back away slowly, trying to avoid any possible conflict.

Suddenly, the black dog let out a vicious roar, and the whole house echoed with the low sound.

Chi Yaoyang immediately felt his scalp tingling and his heart was filled with fear.

He knew he had to find a way to leave here, otherwise he would be in greater danger.

At this moment, the younger brother suddenly took action, knocked the dog unconscious, and then locked him in the doghouse.

Chi Yaoyang was a little surprised when he saw his younger brother carrying dog food into his bedroom.

He noticed that his brother was holding a piece of paper with the words "Don't feed dog food to dogs!" written on it, and then his brother went into his bedroom and closed the door.

He stood there quietly, observing the bedroom door.

Although he couldn't hear what was happening inside, he could feel that the atmosphere in the room was extremely tense.

This made him more determined to find a way to leave this strange family.

Chi Yaoyang decided to move closer to the bedroom, and he stepped carefully on the floor.

He quietly pushed the door open and looked out, and a scene appeared before him that made him gasp.

The room was filled with black liquid and emitted a pungent stench.

Through the dim light, Chi Yaoyang saw his brother standing in the middle of the room, holding a meat-cleaver dripping with blood in his hand.

The younger brother turned around and saw Chi Yaoyang.

There was a fanatical light in his eyes as he stared at Chi Yaoyang, then waved the meat cleaver in his hand at him.

Chi Yaoyang immediately felt a dangerous aura coming.

Driven by the instinct for survival, Chi Yaoyang immediately turned around and ran towards the room.

Chi Yaoyang hurried back to the bedroom, closed the door, leaned against it and took a breath.

He felt that he had collected a lot of information about ways to leave today, but still hadn't found a solution.

There was a stack of papers on the table, on which he had written down various clues after getting up...
