Chapter 719 The younger brother who comes at different times

Chi Yaoyang picked up one of the papers and read it with a frown.

He pondered the meaning of every word and every clue.

Chi Yaoyang realized that leaving this family would be much more difficult than he had ever imagined.

Although he has always been a person who calmly analyzes problems and finds solutions, he now feels at a loss.

He continued to flip through the papers on the table, trying to find a way to leave this strange family.

He noticed a piece of paper with the words: "If you can solve the mystery of your family, maybe you can leave here."

Chi Yaoyang frowned, he was full of confusion about this sentence.

During the day, he noticed that his brother was hostile to him and tried to hurt him.

However, at night, just now, the younger brother showed his willingness to help Chi Yaoyang.

He felt very confused.

He couldn't understand why his brother could be so hostile during the day and yet at night seem like a different person, showing a desire to help him.

This made him begin to doubt his brother's true intentions. Was all this a trick he had carefully planned?

He began to re-examine his brother's actions and words that he had previously recorded, trying to find clues.

But no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't be sure whether his brother was lying.

In this weird family, who can be truly trusted?

Chi Yaoyang fell into deep thought.

Eventually, I decided to record the time my parents left and returned home to try to find a pattern in their time away from home.

This is also his continued exploration of ways to leave.

Suddenly, Chi Yaoyang heard the sound of his parents coming back from outside.

He quickly turned around, went back to the bedroom, sat down, and pretended nothing had happened.

"The meat I bought today is really fresh! It tastes even better than last time!"

The mother said excitedly.

"Yes, this butcher shop is really good. We will go there regularly to buy meat from now on!"

My father nodded with satisfaction.

They smiled with satisfaction to each other, and Chi Yaoyang listened attentively.

After hearing what his father said, Chi Yaoyang became even more nervous.

He began to wonder if the meat came from that strange couple.

I watched my parents quickly go into the room to rest.

His mood became even more uneasy as he sensed a strange aura in the house.

After thinking for a moment, he decided to go outside again to see if anything strange happened.

He walked silently into his room and turned off the light.

The whole room was plunged into darkness, with only faint moonlight coming in through the window.

Chi Yaoyang carefully closed the door and walked downstairs.

At this moment, he suddenly saw a strange scene in front of his neighbor's window.

A figure slowly walked out of the window, looking pale and blurry in the moonlight.

Chi Yaoyang stared at his sleepwalking neighbor in amazement, feeling uneasy.

The sleepwalker walked down the corridor with full concentration, seemingly unaware of his surroundings.

Chi Yaoyang watched him take steady and regular steps, and it was obvious that this was not an ordinary sleepwalker.

Suddenly, the sleepwalker turned in the direction of Chi Yaoyang and stared at him.

Chi Yaoyang felt a chill in his heart. He felt that pair of eyes looked through the darkness and directly into his heart.

However, nothing unusual happened during this strange and silent gaze.

The neighbor slowly turned around and walked back to his house again.

Chi Yaoyang took a deep breath and decided that he could not stay in this horrible place any longer.

He ran back without hesitation, only to find that his sleepwalking neighbor had grabbed his arm tightly, almost dragging him into the eerie house.

He struggled hard, but felt that his neighbor was extremely strong and he almost lost his freedom.

He felt as if he was being pulled by an invisible force.

"Let me go!"

Chi Yaoyang shouted as loudly as he could.

The sleepwalker didn't react at all, he continued walking towards the house with a blank expression.

Chi Yaoyang sensed something was wrong and used up his last bit of strength to pull out a sharp machete from his pocket.

Having made up his mind, Chi Yaoyang slashed at the sleepwalker without hesitation.

He knocked the sleepwalker to the ground with one knife, but there was no blood.

Chi Yaoyang ran back home panting. He pushed open the door and quickly closed and locked it.

He looked around in horror, only to see a scene that made his heart sink: his neighbor was still wandering outside the house.

"Will I never be able to escape again?"

Chi Yaoyang muttered to himself, feeling that he was in a desperate situation.

It seems he is confined here today.

He had no choice but to spend the long night in this terrible home.

Finally, Chi Yaoyang arrived at the door of his bedroom.

He walked silently to the bed, lay down and closed his eyes.

Awakened by the sudden sound of the alarm, he sat up from the bed and opened his eyes. The room was filled with dim light, and the morning light shining through the gap in the curtains illuminated the grayness.

He shook his head, trying to erase the horrific images of last night.

However, when he walked out of the bedroom, he was almost frightened by his brother's strong and fierce gaze.

Chi Yaoyang stopped and looked into his brother's eyes.

Those eyes were dark and expressionless, staring at him as if they wanted to eat him alive.

"What's wrong? Why are you looking at me like that?"

Chi Yaoyang tried to remain calm and asked in a calm tone.

No answer.

Chi Yaoyang felt a chill running down his spine.

He knew he needed to tread carefully, both with this newly eerie home and with the situation he now faced.

"Why don't you speak?"

Chi Yaoyang tried to ask again.

Still no answer. Only silence and a cold atmosphere filled the air.

Chi Yaoyang turned around and continued walking towards the kitchen, hoping to restore his normal rhythm of life through some ordinary household things.

However, when he opened the refrigerator and revealed the bloody meat inside, endless despair suddenly surged in his heart.

After letting out a long sigh in the kitchen, Chi Yaoyang turned around, only to find that his brother was still standing there staring at him.

This time, he even felt an unusually powerful aura emanating from his brother's body.

Through this gloomy and terrifying face, Chi Yaoyang continued to stare at his brother's black hole-like eyes, his heart full of vigilance.

He watched his brother wordlessly take out a bag of dog food and put it on the table.

"What does this mean?"

Chi Yaoyang turned to face his brother and tried to remain calm.

A trace of dissatisfaction flashed across his brother's face, and he cursed viciously: "What are you thinking? Why did you put this kind of thing in my room?"

Chi Yaoyang's heart began to tremble. He clearly remembered that it was his brother who brought the dog food into the bedroom last night...
