Chapter 2: Youth

Chapter 2: Youth

"Mr. Jin is in a meeting today and can't get away, so let me pick you up." Uncle Li smiled and said, "Little girl, just call me Uncle Li. Get in the car and I'll take you back to the Jin family."

Cen Nian froze for half a second, then nodded: "Thank you, Uncle Li."

"Hey, don't be so polite, this is what you should do."

Uncle Li took her around the front of the car and walked towards the door on the other side. Cen Nian was wondering why he was going around in such a circle, but when Uncle Li opened the door, she finally understood why he was going around in a circle.

On the other side sat a young man, sitting lazily and casually. He lowered his eyes, his gaze fixed on the screen of his mobile phone, without moving to the other side at all.

It was the boy on the train, what a coincidence.

Cen Nian looked at Uncle Li in confusion. He smiled and said, "Let's get on the train. What a coincidence! Our young master also came back by train."

Young master.

She understood instantly. She heard that Mr. Jin had a son, who was probably the young master Uncle Li mentioned.

Even just sitting there, he couldn't hide his dignity. He had fair skin and his clothes were clean and new. Just looking at him gave off a refreshing feeling.

Cen Nianxin slapped her head in surprise, and her eyes fell slightly on her clothes. She had just stood for a while and was sweating.

Thinking of this, my face turned red uncontrollably. It was not the red of shyness, but the red of embarrassment and fear.

The boy swiped the screen of his mobile phone. Cen Nian didn't dare to delay and got into the car as quietly as possible.

The air conditioner inside the car was whirring, and the suffocating burning sensation was somewhat relieved.

Cen Nian greeted politely: "Hello, I'm Cen Nian, thank you for coming to pick me up."

Jin Siyang didn't say anything, but glanced at her lightly. Cen Nian didn't expect him to pay attention to her, so she leaned against the car door, trying to stay away from him as much as possible.

She had just sweated and checked several times that there was no other smell on her body except the usual smell of laundry detergent, and only then did she feel a little relieved.

The uncle just said that this car is very expensive. Cen Nian felt it. The car's sound insulation was very good, and he could hardly hear any outside noise. The driving was smooth, and there was an indescribable feeling, as if he was floating in the clouds.

She secretly glanced at the person next to her. He was still swiping his phone. There was a small English logo on the side of his clothes, which she didn't recognize. He was wearing a pair of shoes on his feet. They were very clean and spotless. There was a hook on the upper of the shoe. She knew the brand.

Cen Nian's mind was in a mess. Her eyes fell back on her shoes. The little white shoes were washed very clean, but the glue on the side was broken. She pursed her lips, retracted her feet, sighed secretly, and finally turned to look at the street scene outside the window.

The elegant and magnificent historical buildings printed in the book now stand before his eyes. Cen Nian feels indescribably excited. This is Jiang City, with a busy traffic. Passing by a wide and clean road, beautiful buildings just pass by, just like an elegant and beautiful girl greeting him.

Until the vehicle drove forward, Cen Nian looked back and looked at it greedily.

I still remember that when she was very young, she told her grandmother that she must go to Jiang City in the future and get admitted to a good university. She also said that she would make money after going to university and take her grandmother to Jing City to play, and then come to Jiang City to visit after going to Jing City. She had said this for so many years, but she didn't expect to come to Jiang City earlier than expected.

Unfortunately, she couldn't bring her grandmother to see it.

Cen Nian's eyes became a little moist, she blinked, and then returned to normal.

The vehicle drove into a quiet villa area, where the grass and trees were lush and the green landscape was dotted with delicate flowers, which was so beautiful.

Cen Nian had long heard that land was extremely expensive in Jiang City, and she had long known that Mr. Jin's family was wealthy. However, until a villa stood before her, she still felt that her imagination was shallow.

This is a villa in Jiang City!

Uncle Li opened the car door and Jin Siyang got out first. Cen Nian watched him leave and still sat obediently in his seat waiting for Uncle Li.

There was no other reason. Looking at the configuration on the car door, Cen Nian was a little troubled. She didn't know how to drive and was afraid of making a fool of herself. It would be better for her to wait for Uncle Li's help.

After Uncle Li opened the car door, Cen Nian got out and said obediently, "Thank you, Uncle Li."

A middle-aged woman was standing at the door of the villa. She was wearing an apron and smiling. She looked about the same age as Uncle Li.

Jin Siyang was pushing his luggage when the aunt at the door greeted him: "Siyang is back."

He nodded: "Aunt Liu."

Cen Nian took a step forward and said, "Uncle Li, I can push the suitcase by myself." The young master also pushed it by himself, so she couldn't be too pretentious.

Uncle Li smiled, and he was even more pleased when he saw the girl in front of him. "Hey, how can a girl push a suitcase? My wife is standing at the door. If I let you push the suitcase, she will definitely say that I don't have the gentlemanly manners."

Cen Nian withdrew his hand awkwardly: "Thank you, Uncle Li."

Cen Nian was new here, so she felt a little awkward, but Uncle Li and Aunt Liu had arranged everything for her. They had already cleaned her room. Aunt Liu, seeing that she had come all the way here, made her a bowl of noodles to fill her stomach. Aunt Liu was also very kind, and her eyes softened as she looked at her: "Just tell me if you need anything else."

Cen Nian finished the last bite of noodles, pursed her lips and smiled, saying, "Aunt Liu, the noodles you make are delicious. I have everything I need, but... I'm sorry to bother you and Uncle Li."

She is not a very lively person, but she has a rare skill of being sweet-talking when facing elders, probably because she has gained experience in coaxing her grandmother.

Throughout the whole day, Cen Nian chatted with Aunt Liu and Uncle Li for a long time, and finally returned to the guest room. She did not see Jin Siyang again. As soon as he came back, he went straight back to the room. The door of the room was closed and there was no movement.

She didn't see Mr. Jin either.

She was a little curious about what kind of person Mr. Jin was and why he took such good care of her, the one who had sponsored her for so many years and let her come here to board.

Several villains were fighting in her mind. After thinking it over, Cen Nian decided to go downstairs and wait for Mr. Jin. It was her first day here, so she had to say hello no matter what.

She tiptoed downstairs. The clock pointed to midnight. The main lights in the villa were turned off, leaving only a few small lights in the corridor and living room, flashing a warm yellow light.

Cen Nian walked carefully, afraid of waking others, and finally came to the living room and sat obediently on the sofa.

*

On summer nights, insects chirp softly, and the night wind rustles the leaves on the treetops.

Jin Siyang slowly woke up. The room was dark and moonlight filtered through the gaps in the curtains onto the spotless wooden floor.

He supported himself on the bed and sat up, the quilt falling on his exposed waist, and the cold air from the air conditioner suddenly rushed in. Jin Siyang casually brushed his hair, stood up sleepily, took the air conditioner remote control on the bedside table, and adjusted the temperature from 16 degrees to 20 degrees.

After Jin Siyang came back, he quickly took a shower and climbed into bed to catch up on some sleep. Uncle Li and Aunt Liu knew his habits and did not disturb him, so he slept until midnight.

He put on a loose white short-sleeved shirt and went downstairs in slippers.

The villa was not very bright. He had just woken up and felt a little dazed, but he walked downstairs with ease. When he turned and walked towards the kitchen, a furry head appeared on the sofa in the living room.

Jin Siyang was stunned for two seconds.
